We have really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house and the welcome basket was a very nice surprise. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location was very convenient to visit Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse and Custer State Park. Kathleen is a very kind person and a great host. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore more of South Dakota. All in all we can truly recommend this accommodation.

We really enjoyed or stay at Sarah's Airbnb. Everything you need is within walking distance, which was quite enjoyable. Although, it is on the edge of downtown, we had no issue with road noise, which was nice relative to the location. There is a grocery store across the street, so it was easy to walk over and buy food to prepare in the well equipped kitchen. The Pizza Mill restaurant was also across the street and there pizzas were outstanding. I would highly recommend this impendent and locally owned business. We also walked a block to breakfast one morning and ate at the Our Place restaurant. This locally owned breakfast diner was also a gem and had a wonderful hometown atmosphere. Further down the main street were several other shops and places to eat. The only negative issue with Sarah's pace was the narrow, steep, and winding stairwell to the second floor. None of our group over 50 felt comfortable staying upstairs. All and all a good stay.

There were two couples and a young adult. The biggest plus was the layout, with two bedrooms upstairs and one down for him. The game room was convenient extra space. Comfortable home, plenty of HOT water for 5 morning showers, EXCELLENT location for all of our touristy excursions. We were gone most of the time but when there, we enjoyed using the back deck. Great laundry room. Although, in a way it felt like we were visiting a relative's house. There were tubs in the closet of the room I was in, so suitcases could not be put away. It just seems like we were visiting in a place where people live. In other rentals we have used this was not the case. The home was relatively clean, but does need some deferred maintenance. All-in-all, though it was definitely worth the price and in a quiet neighborhood, so if it fits your needs, Book It!

Sherry and her husband were so helpful and so kind and so attentive to detail. I don’t think I’ve had a stay at an Airbnb that was quite as nice as my month here in Sturgis I walked in the door and I felt like I was part of the family from the moment I walked in the house. If I had the need to stay in this location again, it would be without hesitation and I would look forward to every moment.

Great stay at a reasonable price. Room was very spacious. Holly was very welcoming when I arrived.

Everything about this house was great. Great location and big place for the group we had! There was not toilet paper or garbage bags. The owner was quick to respond and easy to work with! Happy with our stay!

I know I'm just saying what everyone else says, but WOW what a great location! Not only great for avoiding the hassle of driving into historic Deadwood (EASY walking distance) but we used it as a staging place for day trips to Mount Rushmore and the Badlands. It was so comfortable and relaxing (and quiet) - perfect after a long day of adventures. Thanks for a great experience!

Sarah has created a dynamic and comfortable place to restore and relax while you discover all that the Black Hills has to offer. Details such as park passes and a wheeled grocery tote were so very appreciated. The Johnny Cash theme is fun and classy, not cheesy. And the location is perfect—so close to essential retailers, easily walkable to restaurants, bars & shops, and super accessible to Custer State Park and other areas of interest. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Great little apartment close to downtown and restaurants. Has everything you'd want for a short week-long stay.

Listing was exactly as stated. Location was great and suited our needs to a T. We were within driving distance of everything on our agenda. Plenty of parking and a nice quiet neighborhood. Bed and pillows were comfortable and plenty of linens. Great experience and would highly recommend! Hoping to stay here again.

We absolutely cherish every minute we are at Cynthia's. it's perfect for us and we have already booked for our 2025 wedding anniversary trip. It's quiet, private, clean. The view from the upper deck is serene, the small lush area right outside of the apartment door is the perfect morning coffee area. The DARK Canyon coffee provided is my favorite and that BED & those PILLOWS. Decadent comfort. Down alternative hotel luxury pillows, all white linens that I melt into every night. I sleep like a baby every night in this little nook of heaven! ❤️

we had a wonderful stay. the apartment was as described. communication with cj was great, and they were accommodating with requests. the area was quiet and it was the perfect place to stay. will gladly come back

Amazing surroundings at Hisega Lodge! We really appreciated Tara’s accommodation with our schedule changes and this place remains an absolute favorite for its setting along the creek.

Tom and Mary were incredible hosts! I feel like we hit the jackpot with this booking. The views were breathtaking, the hot tub was relaxing, and Tom's breakfast was incredible! We never had a want or need that wasn't already anticipated by our hosts, and they were so easy to talk to and get along with. I will definitely book here again.

We had a lovely stay! Our hosts were lovely and friendly. Breakfast was delicious with a beautiful place setting and lots of coffee. Cookies were an added extra touch. The bed was very comfy. Guests leaving early were louder than expected (but hosts make the effort to encourage thoughtfulness). Thank you! We’d definitely stay here again. Perfect for walking into town.

The 1899 in takes you back in time while still having modern amenities. Nyla and her husband are gracious hosts and it's clear they take pride in their B&B. We'd definitely stay here again!

If you are planning to come to Mount Rushmore National Park, badlands National Park, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, or you just want to stay in the cute town of Custer, then skip the local hotels and go to Dakota Dream Ranch. I am from Portland, Oregon, where I grew up and so is Mackenzie. I used to raise and train horses and so did Mackenzie. I was in law-enforcement for over 30 years and Mackenzie was in law-enforcement for seven years. Needless to say it’s not very hard to figure out that we have several things in common. My wife was a little nervous about my choice for this Airbnb but when she got here, she realized there was nothing better. We stayed in one of the stargazer cabins and it is absolutely fantastic. if you’re wanting a little less of a glamping experience, then stay in the lodge or one of the larger cabins. Mackenzie runs this by herself, so please support her! She met us in the driveway when we arrived and treated us like royalty. You can’t go wrong staying here!!!
