Alnmouth train station is only a 5 minute drive. From here you can travel directly to Edinburgh in 1 hour. The studio features an open plan sleeping/ living area with a kitchen.

This delightful little apartment is perfect for a couple visiting the beautiful town of Berwick Upon Tweed for a weekend getaway. It is centrally situated in the town just off the main high street, walking distance to shops, pubs the theatre and eateries. The apartment is on the first floor so there are steps to access, there is a lovely bathroom with shower, double bedroom, quaint and well furnished living area and kitchen equipped with all the cooking essentials. Minutes from the railway station this is also a great base from which to visit Northumberland's coast and castles or head north to Scotland and Edinburgh.

A short stroll from a family friendly sandy beach and promenade, Coble Cottage is the perfect base for a stay in Berwick-upon-tweed. Situated in Spittal, this cosy, stone built cottage is perfectly placed to get easy access to both the town centre with historic Elizabethan walls, bars, restaurants and art galleries (30 min walk or short bus ride) and the beach (only a few minutes walk) or exploring Northumberland, the Cheviots, Holy Island and Scottish Border villages.

Swinburne Castle

Swinburne Castle is perfectly situated within its own beautiful parkland and gardens. Traditionally decorated, parts of the house have tremendous history dating back to the 12th century. The east wing is extremely comfortable and private, and don't be perturbed by the stone steps leading down to the vaulted cellar. In the mornings you can look forward to a delicious breakfast in the formal dining room. There is ample parking and a tennis court you are welcome to use.

This is a traditional cottage on a family farm, newly renovated throughout and with extensive views to the sea, rolling countryside and Cheviot hills. Many beautiful villages nearby including Bamburgh and Seahouses, with great restaurants, sites to see and boat trips to take! Also close to historic Lindisfarne, known locally as Holy Island.

Next to the two-storey smithy (a former artists studio) , you'll find hidden steps opening up to a large garden. The Smithy is an oasis of peace nestled in the centre of the historic town of Berwick-upon-Tweed. Dogs are more than welcome to stay :)
