The space has been created to encourage a sense of community with all who stay here. We hope you enjoy the short 4 minute walk to the beach, (please note running shoes are recommended. The trail is steep and has obstacles such as roots and rocks) the endless trails nearby or the amazing yard and space the property has to offer.

One level lakefront retreat!

Enjoy this beautiful two-bedroom piece of paradise on Sproat Lake with a couch (queen size) hide a bed in the living room to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. A fifteen-minute drive from Port Alberni and 90 minutes to the gateway to the beautiful beaches on the West Coast. Relax on your own private deck with a glass of wine overlooking the lake & cooking on the BBQ or cozy up in the evening with the propane fire pit. There is shared access to the dock, swimming area, fire pit and lawns.

The Garden House

Our get-a-way is an oasis on a beautiful island, at the end of the road. We are very close to Fillongly Park with its beaches, views of nearby Hornby Island, and old growth trails along the creek. Our garden house is tucked behind the main house. It's surrounded by abundant landscape, woodland, a seasonal stream, and our horse pasture. The house and it's surroundings are private and peaceful. You may see the horses, a peacock, tree frogs and deer, but you won't see any traffic or crowds.

Glen Lake Carriage House w/Garage + Private Yard

Brand new 2 bedroom carriage house with 1 secure garage parking space located on the Galloping Goose Trail and steps from Glen Lake South Beach. A quick, peaceful, walk on the lakeside trail to groceries and West Shore Town Centre, and an easy drive or bicycle ride to hospital, Uptown and downtown Victoria. Drive or bike west for a scenic tour of the Juan de Fuca Straight, endless hiking and camping, and Vancouver Island’s beautiful West Coast. * 1 flight stairs required to access main level

This hidden gem is situated on the stunning shores of Lake Cowichan in a secluded location (7km via gravel road). The spacious design allows you to unwind with modern amenities, including a large entertaining area with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors that bring the outdoors in. Kayaks and paddle boards available for use and boat slip on shared dock with small rocky beach and swimming area. Also includes a large outdoor patio / grassy area for lawn games and BBQ fun.

This place is a true getaway for those looking to kick back and slow down for a while. Fix yourself a coffee in the morning followed by a little R&R on the front patio soaking in the hot tub while taking in the ocean view. You may just be able to spot a seal or even a killer whale!
