Cabin/Tiny Home. Relax & enjoy amazing mtn. views, 200 acres of trails, woods, pastures, farm, & fields. HURRICANE HELENE: TRAILS ARE NOT COMPLETELY ACCESSIBLE NOW DUE TO HELENE. Our trails & woods have been ravaged with 100's of trees down. Many trails are still not cleared. Our 1.5 mile upper ridge trail loop and one river trail are now open. Pastures and fields are mostly cleared and all areas around the cottage are completely cleared with amazing long range views of fields and mountains.

Relax in this cozy, singular cabin on 32 acres. You have private river frontage for swimming, tubing, fishing or just relaxing. Visit glass blowing, pottery, weaving and wood working studios nearby. Penland School of Crafts is 20 minutes away. Choose from a wide variety of hiking trails, including the crest trail of Mount Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi, or driving the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Asheville known for its micro-breweries and eclectic downtown is an hour away.

Visit the Black Mountain camp grounds or the Carolina Hemlocks camp grounds. Bring your DOGS and hike the Appalachian Trail and the Mountain to Sea Trails. We are back open after Hurricane Helene and appreciate your business. The storm did a lot of tree damage but the property is ready to go. Hiking trails are use at your own risk and the Blue Ridge Parkway is currently closed. This campsite is located in the heart of the forest, off of the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. 4 wheel drive required in winter, shower and sink not available when below freezing. There will be access to water at the faucet just outside the camper and a flushing toilet.

A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located in the mountains of Spruce Pine, NC. There isn’t a coffee shop on every corner, just a slower pace that we all need. Only 10 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway with Beautiful Overlooks and Hiking.. A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located a 1/2 mile from the Toe River for fishing and kayaking. The Penland School of Crafts is 3 miles away and the beauty of the campus can not be beat. We are halfway between Boone and Asheville for all that these two towns offer.

Stuck in the city hustle? Breathe deeper in mountain air at the edge of Pisgah National Forest. NEW private outhouse (2025). Hike 3 scenic waterfall trails nearby, or sip hot coffee from your king bed with a view of the Black Mountains. Center yourselves on our custom elevated deck overlooking national forest. Secluded, but only 5 mins from Walmart for supplies. PLEASE NOTE (1) This is a fully off-grid experience (2) it can get hot inside the dome during the day. Read all info below!

Explore our 5 acre property and visit the small pond in back. Please ensure pets are leashed - we have ducks. The hosts also live on the property in a separate house.
