Spent a day in Ocho Rios with my family of 6 visiting Dunn’s River falls, and needed a place to stay overnight as we had a flight to catch the next day in Mobay. I booked at a different air bnb in a different gated community that went really bad, as we entered that house it was taken over by ants that my 2 young sons freaked out about and refused to stay there. So I was left without a suitable accommodation at almost 6 pm at night when I searched and came across this listing hosted by Janet and luckily it was available. I booked and it was ready for me within 20 minutes. Janet was a great host, the place was modern, very big screen TVs in all the rooms, locks and keys for each rooms in case travelling with a group, garbage bins everywhere, good size private backyard for kiddies to play or private couple time, AC kicks in instantly with cold air, separate beach towels provided, access to laundry to wash and dry my beach stuff, comfy bed and linens, and as my kids said…. NO ants/bugs!!!

We had a scheduling issue and we weren't able to stay, but Yvonne was a pleasure working with to resolve it. Would definitely stay in the future!

Nadia made a birthday stay extremely special by providing the additional service of decorating the rooms. She went above and beyond.

Really nice Villa. Beautiful ocean view. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of towels, pillows, and extra sheets and pillows if needed. The kitchen was furnished well enough to cook all the essentials. The house and bathrooms were very clean. The wifi worked great our entire stay. Communication with the host was easy, and the response was quick. There is AC in two of the main bedrooms. The third room and the rest of the house do not have AC, but there are ceiling fans in every room. It can,get pretty warm in the living room and kitchen, especially while cooking. The only thing I wish there was would have been either long chairs or beach chairs or hammocks to be able to lay in the sun or shade and enjoy the view and ocean breeze. You can swim in the bay if you are a swimmer as it can be kind of rough. Make sure to bring water shoes as it is all rocks and some are very sharp. There is no sand what so ever. The private beach is wonderful and located at a 3min drive.

Excellent place! I would definitely stay again. Very clean and well kept. Loved how close it was to the beach and pool! The nearby beach was awesome and felt very private. Would recommend.

Donna's place is brilliant. Right on the beach I swam every day. I had a huge room with great facilities and a view of coconut trees and the Caribbean sea. There is also wonderful wildlife to see: pelicans diving off the beach and egrets and other birds wading nearby. It is well located for getting in and out of Kingston, or nipping to Harbour View for food or shopping. Also very nearby are the beautiful Cane River Falls and Bob Marley Beach. But what really makes Donna's place so special is the welcome you will receive and how well Donna will look after you. She made us delicious Jamaican dishes such as saltfish and akee, her own grown callaloo and mangoes fresh from the tree. Always there with a smile and providing a relaxed atmosphere to hang out in and have a rum. Donna and her family also kindly helped out with transport and company on local trips and great advice on places to visit. It is just a great place to be and experience the real Jamaica, meet people, relax and have fun.

This is our second consecutive 3 month visit to this property. David is an amazing host! The location is unbeatable. A very short walk to Ocho Rios Bay Beach. Everything that you need is within walking distance. This includes grocery stores, restaurants, ATM's, etc. Margaritaville is directly across the street in a complex that has a number of restaurants, gift shops, tour operators, etc. We will definitely be returning to this property for another long term stay! The property is beautiful with a pool that overlooks the beach, the rooms were prefect size very clean. Ken is very responsive, helpful, and accommodating, i changed my reservation 3 times and he always responded fast sent new linens, towels, and always had a pleasant demeanor. Good Vibes🙏🏽

The space was immaculately clean and thoughtfully decorated with local artwork. Our host, Oneil, was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond by providing a detailed neighborhood guide that led us to some amazing restaurants we would have otherwise missed. The location couldn't be better - just a walk to the beach and within walking distance to local seafood restaurants. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and we appreciated the complimentary items waiting for us upon arrival. The bed was super comfortable with hotel-quality linens. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to anyone looking for the perfect beach getaway!

Very convenient and affordable. The place is as described...very neat...comfy....bright, with lots of sunlight.....spectacular views of the city and the water. The apt is about a 10 minute walk to restaurants, however if you don't have transportation, then the agent at the front desk could call a taxi. If you would like to be in a quiet area of Portmore, then this is the place to be. Don't hesitate, just book it.

the place looks exactly the same as the photos and was very peaceful however have the cleaners check properly while cleaning we found an used cup under the sofa and moldy under a bowl in the kitchen cupboard but other than that everything was great.

Well where do I begin. It’s the best Airbnb I have stayed in Jamaica. Beautiful tranquil surroundings felt right at home and safe. Enjoyed the whole time immensely. The host ‘Sophia’ was superb very attentive friendly positive energy nothing was too much. Not that we needed her that often to honest as everything was in good working order. Would enjoy staying here again the whole are is fantastic the views/surroundings safety with security. 🎉🎉🎉🇯🇲

This home had everything I needed for a perfect stay. The surroundings were beautiful, calming and relaxing. The area was peaceful and quiet. Enjoyed my time there, host had coffee available though I am a tea drinker everything else was great.

At this place you really get what you paid for.

The place was very lovely and spacious, and very secure, it was really amazing the only issues are that there is only 1 shop locally and they never had anything that we need, would be nice if their were other shops in the vicinity. but we would definitely recommend it to others and we would definitely stay again.

I had only 1 issue washer was mentioned in amenities hence the reason I booked this place. in my opinion that’s false advertising.Other than that I had an amazing experience pool and beach on property is breath taking.would definitely recommend.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Che're Place! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality. The property is beautifully maintained, with attention to detail that truly makes it feel like a home away from home. Not to mention the breathtaking beachfront view, which added an extra layer of relaxation to my stay. Overall, Che're Place exceeded my expectations in every way. Hello My husband and I flew down for the Holiday. Our stay was nice and peaceful. The airbnb was clean and the area was quiet. All my wants and needs was address. It was like a one stop shop. We had a car rental setup and ready to go when we reach. We was picked up from the airport by the Host friend for $40.00 I will recommend this airbnb to whoever is looking for a nice and relaxing place to stay in Portmore Jamaica 🇯🇲

Had a great stay. Hosts were warm, welcoming and very responsive! Will definitely revisit!
