My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

Beautiful and cozy place and very responsive and accommodating host. Place is 30 mins drive from bar harbor and Acadia . The river down the house is an additional beauty in its own. The place had everything you need. The care the host took for arranging everything is really appreciated.

Amazing location in quant and charming smalltown Maine! As close as it gets to Acadia without having to pay exorbitant lodging prices. Amenities were beautiful and the unit was well furnished and clean. Would highly recommend a stay here and may even come back again myself!

We had a great stay at the Penthouse! It was a perfect launching point for our downeast adventures in Acadia and points beyond. There was a beautiful waterfront view in a charming small town. The space was cozy, clean, modern and very comfortable for our stay. Highly recommend it.

This is run by a company that is remote, not on site and therefore not familiar with the seasonal changes in terms of closures and what is actually available at a particular time of year.

Was a beautiful place, very welcoming. Lots of thought and kindness went into setting up this space. We wished we could have stayed longer and definitely will come back 10 of 10 we recommend!!!

Nancy is a great host. Location is perfect for my needs and the place is very clean and comfortable.

We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! Great place to stay on the "Quiet Side". We are regulars on MDI and love this area so so much. The kitchen was well-appointed: especially amazed at the selection of herb/spices as a person who likes to cook. The home is fun and eclectic with interesting books, games, card decks (with all the cards!) and multiple areas to hang-out and relax. It was a little chilly for use of boathouse and kayaks, but I can imagine how nice that would have been. Our GPS had the address on the wrong side and not as far down the street.

Beautiful, comfortable, private and secluded, nestled in the woods with a view of the water. 8 deer frequently visit this property!

Unbelievable place! This is perfect coastal Maine , so no need to leave property.its close to a great beach , Acadia, and host makes it easy and a wonderful experience!

Gorgeous, well appointed Airbnb. It was even better than expected. Our family very comfortable and enjoyed all aspects of this very pretty location. The house had fantastic amenities on top of being in an amazing setting. We’ve discussed how we could return….

Leslie’s home is exactly that, cozy, spacious, beautiful, peaceful, but above all it feels like a real home. Leslie was welcoming and gracious, she went above and beyond, I would certainly consider her a friend after staying there. I highly recommend this spot!

We had a minor problem with check in but Kayla and Natasha were very quick to respond and resolve. Their place was well equipped and posted pictures were accurate in showing it’s features. The sunsets were fabulous and day views lovely. Great location for exploring mid-coast Maine. Our group, including 2 pups, took Captain Joe’s oyster farm tour. We highly recommend for both the education and tasting. Restaurant and touring recommendations from Kayla and Natasha were spot on. We definitely recommend staying here.

Patrick’s place was so quaint and cute! We felt very cozy and the entire place felt extremely clean. The bedding was sooo comfortable, so much so that we looked up the brand and almost bought some for ourselves! Would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful location and house. There’s nothing better than sitting in the living room or front porch and being able to see the Belfast Bay. The house is very clean and neat. Beds are comfortable, shower is very hot. Don’t miss the sunrise in the mornings. Overall this is one of our favorite places we have stayed in Belfast.

The photos don't do this place justice. It was spacious and squeaky clean. Beautiful views of the water. For a busy marina it was pretty quiet. During the day there would be people just outside the unit talking but nothing disruptive. Great price for a beautiful place. Only about a 25min drive to Bar Harbor. We would definitely stay here again.

BEAUTIFUL landscape directly on a lake with access to fishing poles, kayaks, and canoes, we felt like we didn’t need to leave the property at all. Perfect location to visit Acadia and near by towns. I wish we could have stayed for twice as long. The condo itself seems to be brand new! The beds were comfortable and the decorations and big screen tv were a nice touch. We spent hours on the dock and in the lake (kayaks). Cannot wait to return to this slice of heaven.

Great place with beautiful view. Super clean, easily fit 6 people (we have 4 adults and 2 kids). There are some board games for kids, they were happy with them and left us alone. Expected street noise as we read from other reviews, which didn’t bother me. Place is close to Acadia National Park, and there is a Walmart 15-20 minutes drive away. One thing you may want to know is that the location of this place is at the south of the island while the way back to main land is on the north. This means you need to drive north before you can head back to south (Portland, Boston, etc.). Overall, I super recommend this place.

Excellent stay in this flat, very well equipped, well located and as per the photos. Patrick's instructions for check-in and check-out were very clear and allowed guests complete autonomy. Only downside: it's true that the flat is not very well soundproofed, so it's easy to hear people upstairs. Otherwise it was perfect!

Well-equipped with guidebooks, kitchen implements, extra pillows, bikes, even a lobster steam pot! We lacked for nothing. Loved the photographs throughout the condo showcasing Acadia NP. Especially loved the map on the wall showing what islands we could see from the balcony. Neighbors were quite friendly & gave several good restaurant recommendations. Peaceful & quiet side of the island allowed for restful sleep each night such that I wasn’t tired after our vacation.
