The cottage is situated in the quiet, rural sea village of Eyrarbakki, only 40 minutes drive from Reykjavík. It is only few steps from the Atlantic ocean where you can take a walk along the ocean. The cottage is recently renovated and well equipped. Perfectly located to explore South Iceland. A short drive of around 40 minutes from your Seaside cottage will bring you to the major tourist attractions in South Iceland. At the end of the day, return to this welcoming Seaside cottage and relax.

Apartment inside a stable

Spacious (89 m2) apartment located inside a horse stable of 36 horses. There is a lot of horses on the property, Hólaborg is a breeding farm. We have our own lake at the property, we really recommend you to take a walk down there to observe the horses and the unique bird life. The farm is located 73 km from Reykjavík, our location is perfect for exploring the south of Iceland and the Golden Circle as well as spotting the northern lights. The beautiful light house &the beach is only 1 km away.

With birds and wildlife in abundance in the surroundings. There are breath taking views of mountains, volcanos, glaciers and gentle walks in nature. Its an amazingly peaceful area to spend some time relaxing, but all while being an excellent location for hitting the sites of south iceland.
