Great place to stay. We had lots of fun using the kayaks and paddle boards. The view of the river is awesome and relaxing while watching all the people tubing, kayaking, and boating up and down. The fire pit was great to make a fire at night. The kitchen had everything we needed and the entire home was very clean. The loft area stayed a little warm so my kids did not want to sleep up there. We had clean music playing on the dock, which people on the river seemed to enjoy too, but the neighbor gave us a dirty look and gesture - no issues otherwise. Overall a great place to spend a few days.

We had an excellent stay at Andres' place. The house was wonderful – plenty spacious for two families and our kids (11 year olds) who loved playing in the pool and playing all the games the house had to offer: ping ping, corn hole, chess, etc. Having access to the kayaks to explore Rainbow River (which was a short drive away)was awesome. We would love to come back.

We had an excellent stay at Joy's place. Everything was perfect, Joy and her family go above and beyond to make this a five star experience. We enjoyed kayaking and paddleboarding in the springs, only a 5 minute paddle from the house to Homosassa Spring. My only regret is we didn't stay longer.

We enjoyed our stay! The place was as advertised and the pool area was great. The home has easy access to the river and is close to nearby springs.

Beautiful home amazing host would definitely rent again

This was one of the best stays we’ve had in Dunnellon thus far. Big backyard and a short, but fun boat ride to get to rainbow Springs. We kept our 17 foot Key West docked behind the house for the weekend without problem. It is shallow when you’re approaching the dock but once you’re out in the main channel, it’s no problem. George was extremely responsive with any questions I had. There’s a local boat ramp down the street that is literally a 10 minute walk from the house so you have the ability to launch your boat, dock it, and then walk back to pick up truck and trailer to park it back at the house for the weekend. (Local Boat ramp parking is tight.)

We really enjoyed our stay! The house was so clean and they had everything you could ask for. It was so peaceful sitting by the fire pit!!!The pool was a plus!! Easy to kayak!! Would highly recommend!!! I will be renting here again in the fall.

Tina's home was perfect for our vacation plans. the house had great sleeping arrangements. The various gathering rooms made it easy for kids tv time and adult separation. i think having our own boat really added to the vacation. we were fishing daily, swimming in the bays and off island beaches. We are sad to hear she is salling the home as we would definitely return if the chance was there.

Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

Beautiful venue for my intimate wedding elopement. Alisha allowing me to take photos with the horses was a magical addition to my perfect big day. Lovely place to stay as always.

AMAZING. Great hosts, great place! I stayed here by myself and it was heaven on earth. I am a nature lover and this exceeded my expectations. The house & the property are stunning. The house is a lovely mix of tasteful tropical & Victorian decor. The outside is like being in the garden of Eden. So private & peaceful. I was able to meet manatees my first evening taking the kayak out; they were as interested in me as I was in them and came all around me and the baby came up to say hi. It was one of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. It was just me and the manatees not another human in sight. The next morning I paddled out again and saw otters playing. I saw turtles, lizards, many beautiful birds, including green heron, great blue heron, and an owl. Coffee in the morning on the patio & a fire at night under the canopy of trees. Close to so much to do- springs, beach, nature parks, but by far the best was being able to paddle pretty much out the back door. I’m so glad I stayed here!!!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at William’s place. He was incredibly responsive and helpful both before and during our visit. The house was cozy, we felt right at home, and the dock was the absolute perfect spot to sit and listen to all the birds. Being able to use the kayaks and easily slip out onto the water was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommend and we would absolutely love to return someday!

We loved staying at the Blue Bee Cottage. It was cozy and comfortable. Each room was detailed perfectly. The neighborhood is very quiet and the cottage is within walkable distance to town or on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays you can walk one block and use the Freebie ride. The cottage has a wonderful comfortable king size bed and the driveway was a plus to park our corvette. We definitely would stay again if we ever visit Mt. Dora again.

One of may favorite stays ever. This place is booming with nature! Owls singing at dusk, tons of frogs singing at night, hummingbirds in the morning and many fish to catch in the pond. Was treated to the sight of a shy, baby gator meandering along the shoreline late afternoons. Ann has thought of everything here. Every little detail is covered, especially if you have forgotten anything to bring with you. The duck/chicken eggs were a nice surprise (which I totally forgot to take with me 😥) and she even had some delicious homemade chocolate pecan bars sitting on the counter for me upon my arrival! (chef's kiss). Such an amazing cottage tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Book it!

Had a great time at Laurie's cabin. Really enjoyed the fire pit, foosball table and my husband loved playing guitar hero. Added bonus was the kids got to see lighting bugs for the first time. Beds were comfy, cabin was clean and well stocked. Close proximity to great trails and Rainbow Springs. Not quite as private as I anticipated from the pictures as there was a tiny home right next to us and the canal was behind owner's home and not the cabin as I mistakenly thought. Overall still a great stay. Owner was very sweet and let the kids feed the chickens, gave our a pup a treat and left a 'smores kit for us to enjoy.

I think our 4th or 5th stay at this location. We'll return. It's one of our Happy Places!!!

Everything was great. Very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Be prepared to have little to no reception when in the area. The wifi in the house worked fine, though.

The tranquility of the back deck was incedible. The location was perfect for visiting our friends at Chassahowitzka Campground (1.5 miles away). I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore the area, especially the manatees and the three or seven sisters springs. One extra bonus was watching the albino squirrel from the front porch in the morning. We had an issue and were very responsive.

This place provided us with exactly what we were looking for. it was very quiet and secluded and felt like home. The hosts made sure we had everything we needed and we're very responsive and communicative before and throughout our stay. we absolutely loved this little getaway and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a little peace and quiet away from the rest of the world!

This is a nice quiet cabin with a neat canal in the back. Darlene was responsive and friendly, check-in was easy, and she left us some nice snacks for our stay! We didn't have a chance to use the kayaks, but it looked like fun!

The place was just as beautiful as we had hoped. Right on the river. There are neighbors, but you have privacy and your own dock. I didn’t want to leave! The home itself was so cozy! But you’ll definitely be spending most of your time outside! Would absolutely come back!

Perfect nature getaway! My husband and I rented the space for an extended weekend that was dog-friendly so we could bring out two aussies. Richard and Leslie's space was perfect for our needs and included a private yard for the dogs to run around in. It was close to all the river access points as well as any grocery shops, restaurants, etc.. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials for us to make a few meals in without having to purchase bulky condiments or seasonings. The space even includes access to use their paddleboards and kayaks, however, we choose to opt for a canoe rental so we had plenty of space to take the dogs out on the river with us. We really enjoyed exploring a new part of Florida and were able to check off another State Park from our list after visiting Rainbow Springs State Park.

We absolutely loved our stay and our dogs had so much fun! The amenities were endless and a lot of thought was put into making sure the guest was comfortable. We especially loved feeding the birds and squirrels, hanging out on the porch, paddling on the lake, sitting and watching the view. The stay is close to silver springs and juniper springs which we both really enjoyed. We definitely hope to back! Thank you for a great stay :)

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at the log cabin. It was everything we hoped for -- cozy, well-appointed, quiet. Our favorite activity was spending mornings reading, paddling, swimming and fishing on the lake. We didn't need to use the A/C at all since the weather was mild and many of the windows had screens.
