Haruya Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.

東海道五十三次の47番目の宿場町として栄え、今なお当時の雰囲気が残されている関宿。この街道沿の伝統的建築群に指定された江戸時代の古民家の2階をお貸しします。往時の雰囲気をお楽しみください。京都、奈良、名古屋まで車で1時間、伊勢まで1時間半、鈴鹿サーキットまでは20分と大変アクセスが便利です。 The Seki-zyuku was prosperous as the 47th stages of 53 stages of Tokaido,a then atmosphere is left. This house is registered in traditional building group, you can book rooms in 2nd floor.please enjoy traditional Japanese house since Edo. You can go to Kyoto,Nara,Nagoya 1 hour by car, and to Ise 1.5hours by car,　to Suzuka Circuit 20 minutes by car.

This is a traditional Japanese house built in the countryside of Iga, the home of the ninja. Although you can come by public transportation, it is more convenient to come by car as it is quite a rural area. The hot spring is 5 minutes by car. It takes 20 minutes by car to the castle town of Iga Ueno. 25 minutes to Mokumoku Farm. 30 minutes to Igayaki no Sato. 45 minutes to Suzuka Circuit. 50 minutes to Akame Shijuhachi Falls National Park. 1 hour to Ise Jingu. 1 hour to Horyuji Temple.

Private House beside the River "Lodge Miyagawa"

The Japanese house stands in a biosphere reserve village, upstream on the Miyagawa (Miya River) which flows from Odaigahara National Park to Ise. The river is just a few minutes walk from the house which is the best place for chilling out, swimming with your family or family and enjoying water. 20 mins' drive from JR "Misedani" station and 60 mins' drive to the Osugidani Valley (one of the three greatest valleys in Japan).

Our guesthouse is located in the old town called Nara-machi. There used to be many traditional wooden townhouses known as Machiya. We restored Machiya while keeping the original structure in order to provide you with a traditional Japanese experience with local atmosphere.This house is for only private use and has only one floor with Japanese style room, shower room, washroom, sink and small garden.
