It is a nice place to relax with friends or family with a clean and quite atmosphere. I would specially appreciate the staff who took our requests with smiling face. The only issue is that we took a bad route from kainchi dham to Nathuakhan where this property is located. We did not find a single vehicle or people on this route for a very long time and the road was in bad condition until we reached Ramgarh. We were not aware that there are multiple routes to Nathuakhan from Kainchi dham. If we were informed about it by the host, it would have been an easier journey. My suggestion would be to check with locals or talk to the host about the route before you start your journey.

Overall experience was worthy according to time we had in his peaceful stay . Away from the busy cities . You want home away from real chaotic lifestyles. It provides that. View of the surroundings could be more enhanced if balcony of the apartment faced the real view. But won’t complain on that part as the view was seconds to walkable distance once you were downstairs. Place was tidy enough. Rahul himself was very responsive in taking care of his guest. Felt satisfied with the stay in this serene surrounding which had good market accessibility and good connectivity with the rest of the interesting places. So if want to plan a stay in quiet places, it worth the deal. As our plan was for 3 days but we eventually extended it .

Amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city life. A place worth visiting, and spending just one day is not enough! You can see the white peaks clearly early in the morning. Perfect to spend time with the loved ones. Road that leads to the stay is also really nice and you can easily take your car there too.

Gaganji was one of the most wonderful host I have ever met with! His warmth and going above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one, made us all very happy and extremely satisfied with our trip. Rukhmaniji is extremely talented and knowledgeable about practicing organic living. Had learnt so much from both of them about it and the benefits that nature has endowed us. Further, the variety of delicious home cooked meals that we had during our stay was the cherry on the cake! Their personal touch to each and every aspect of our stay was simply commendable, and thats what make them a SUPERB hosts!

I had a wonderful stay at La Vie in the Mountains in Majkhali, Ranikhet, hosted by the warm and caring Sarika Verma. The location, 10 km from the main Ranikhet, was peaceful, scenic, and calm, with nearby short treks. The home was well-equipped and comfortable, and Trilok, the helpful caretaker, made sure everything was taken care of. Cleanliness was good, and although I expected towel and linen changes every 2-3 days, they were taken care of when requested. The terraces had spectacular views, though the Himalayan peaks were hazy. I enjoyed the presence of birds and cows. The homestay was perfect for work and meditation, with good connectivity. Sarika even arranged a ground-floor room for my elderly parents, catered to their food preferences, and ensured their comfort. I highly recommend La Vie in the Mountains for a peaceful and well-cared-for stay in Majkhali, Ranikhet!

Mass tourism hasnot made its way to these parts yet, as a result, the place is serene and calm. View of snow peaks right from your balcony is mesmerizing. There is not much to do, which is perfect. Raghuwar takes really good care of you and the food is simple and home like. It's a great option. Would definitely come again

Really had an excellent break at this property which is just next to Taj Corbett and has many good restaurants in the vicinity. The property has well maintained lawns and many trees which makes the stay peaceful and serene. The rooms very spacious and washrooms are very neat and clean, thanks to Deepa and Kiran who have the responsibility of maintaining this place. Our hosts Govindji (Retired Principal and PhD holder) and his wife made our stay highly comfortable through their simplicity and warmth. We would definitely be visiting this place again as it felt like a home away from home. Thanks Govindji for making our stay a memorable one.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful jungle retreat. The last 1 km to the property is a steep ascent which we covered by a 4x4, which added to the adventure. The bungalow is tastefully done, super comfortable, and has all the modern amenities you’d need. It’s spread across three floors, and waking up to the sound of birds every morning was such a heartwarming experience. There’s a lovely machan on the property that offers stunning panoramic views of the jungle. It's great spot to just relax, enjoy the breeze, and take it all in. The caretakers were friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious. Don’t miss the hike to the river! It’s a steep walk down, so if hiking isn't your thing, you can hire a gypsy ride for an additional fee (totally worth it). Overall, a peaceful, refreshing, and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!
