2023年に新しくオープンしました！ 場所は和歌山県の高野山で、天空の聖地と呼ばれ、標高900mほどの峰々に囲まれた山上盆地であり、町全体が世界遺産にも登録されています。 10年以上の高野山でのゲストハウス（Koyasan guesthouse Kokuu）の運営の経験を生かし、新たなチャレンジとして高野山内では初めての一棟の貸しを開始しました。 この宿は元々長年使われていなかったガレージをリノベーションしたもので、「山に籠るように過ごしてほしい」という思いから山籠（さんろう）と名付けました。この宿を隠れ家のようなものとして、選りすぐりの民芸品や器も楽しんでいただけるようにと思いを込めています。 一日一組限定で、完全にプライベートな空間と時間を提供します。友達や家族、カップルなど最大4名まで宿泊が可能で、自分とひたすら向き合う時間に、大切な人と思い出深い時間をお過ごしください。※宿泊中は完全に貸切状態で、他のゲストはいません。 チェックインはテンキーでの入館になりますが、入館後必ずホストが直接ご挨拶に伺い、施設案内、高野山の観光案内を致します。その他、滞在中は何でもご相談ください

A　rustic Japanese village getaway

This converted farmhouse is located in Kawakami Village, the source of the Yoshino/Kino river. A private Satoyama retreat in the mountains of Nara, just 20 minutes from the city. This traditional one-group-per-day house is renovated with reclaimed wood and uses fresh mountain spring water. Enjoy hands-on cooking with organic rice and vegetables from our farm. Relax in a wood-fired bath, and in the morning experience a Japanese tea ceremony surrounded by nature. Dinner options include Japanese meal or pizza making. Our meal service is available for parties of two or more guests.

This is a private, whole-house guesthouse located in the quiet fishing village of Nigishima, Kumano City, Mie Prefecture. On the way to Nigishima, you’ll be greeted by the deep blue ocean known as “Kumano Blue,” and the house sits overlooking the calm waters of Nigishima Bay. To reach the house, you will need to climb approximately 50 steps (about a 5-minute walk), but a beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere await you at the top.

Reservation start from 2 person / 2 nights minimum. We accept only one group at a time so you will have exclusive use of the entire property. Guesthouse is a typical old Japanese house, not like a resort Hotel or Ryokan for business. We have no meal service. Mikiura village is surrounded by the clear blue sea and natural green mountains. You'll enjoy real Japan such as rural life experience, quiet time and beautiful nature.

The Japanese house stands in a biosphere reserve village, upstream on the Miyagawa (Miya River) which flows from Odaigahara National Park to Ise. The river is just a few minutes walk from the house which is the best place for chilling out, swimming with your family or family and enjoying water. 20 mins' drive from JR "Misedani" station and 60 mins' drive to the Osugidani Valley (one of the three greatest valleys in Japan).

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.
