Resting on 15 acres, come relax and feel tucked away in this little guest cabin. Situated on a mini farm with chickens, bunnies, and mini Scottish Highland cows. The cabin is stocked with snacks, light beverages, coffee, robes, and disposable slippers to make it feel like home away from home. Guests are welcome to any fresh garden fruits or free range yard eggs while staying on the property. We have put some extra thought into the little details to help make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.

This is a one of a kind, tiny home built on a 1970 Chevrolet C50 farm truck! The truck is on a spacious private lot on the Tangipahoa River conveniently located 6 miles from Ponchatoula & 45 miles from New Orleans. The truck home is fully stocked for a perfect getaway including a kitchen, bathroom, queen bed in the bedroom, couch sleeper, AC/heat, an outside gazebo, and WIFI for remote work. Enjoy fishing, boating, bird watching, evening fires, and nature at our peaceful water front home.

This beautifully renovated home sits on 5.5 acres with an acre pond. Conveniently located near I-55 & I-12 and about 5 min. from S.L.U. & downtown Hammond. Harper's Haven is about 30 min from Baton Rouge & about 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Sleeps 6, offering a King size bed, & 2 Queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a Keurig. There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer & utility sink. Enjoy grilling or relaxing on the patio, or fishing and kayaking in the pond.

The Gator Getaway

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

Hobbit House

Please read detailed description of property before booking. Set in a 22 acre parcel on the Natalbany River 6.5 miles from downtown Hammond. Enjoy nature with a walk along the trail from house to river. This building has been built with mostly reclaimed, reused and upcycled materials. The rustic interior walls are clad in huge boards milled on the property after Katrina damage. Note the unusual shower with handmade tiles. There are other unique structures on property.

Great weekend river getaway!

Relax and unwind with the whole family at this peaceful camp located on the Tangipahoa River. Enjoy fishing off the dock (some poles and tackle are available) or the view from the top deck. Unfortunately, we do not allow swimming off the dock. Bring your boat and launch at Lee’s Landing (few minutes away) to take your fishing adventure from the dock to the banks! We also have two Roku TVs with 50+ channels and ability to log in to any of your streaming services.

The outside deck is equipped for boat/jet ski docking, and the canal leads to the Tickfaw River. There is plenty of room inside and out to spend quality time with friends and family. It is 10 minutes to local dining and 45 minutes to Baton Rouge and/or New Orleans. There are 4 kayaks available!

This cozy, hilltop retreat is near Bogue Chitto State Park and set on six acres, including a native grasses and plants, forest, and direct access to Bonner Creek. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking nearby. Watch for deer, wild turkeys, and excellent birdwatching. Perfect weekend getaway to destress and relax, enjoy an adventure or both!

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located place. The house is a two minute drive just off i-55 and a three minute drive to downtown Ponchatoula. You can be at the Hammond Square shopping center in appox. 10 minutes and into downtown Hammond or SLU in less than 15 minutes. It's a nice cozy place to stay to reach many venues in the area.
