Michael's house is not just a place to live, it is a unique experience. And that is not only because of its location right at the edge of the dunes. Also not because it is fully equiped with well designed utensils perfectly matching the clean interior. All these things are there and bring you in a relaxed and natural atmosphere. The sheer magic of this place is to be discovered by its lodgers. That story is to long to describe here and it would not be appropriate to reveal it beforehand. We shall treasure this place forever. Thanks to Michael and Adele, the on site manager.

The place is really nice, quiet and we loved the little fireplace - we wanted a place where we can relax and disconnect and that was perfect. It is quite hard in NZ to get a place where dogs are allowed and being able to go on holidays with them was a ++++.

Beautiful modern home in the heart of Oakura! Thandi and Bachelor were so kind and super responsive. We were so grateful for the lovely space to spend time with our family.

Beautiful house, easy to access and friendly, flexible host

We had a great stay at Kathryn’s place! It was warm and cosy, with heaters in the bedrooms which made it really comfortable. I really appreciated the extra touches – the nice hot chocolate and container of chocolate biscuits were a real treat! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals, and the beds were super comfortable – I got three great nights of sleep. It’s also in a great location, less than a 10-minute drive to Whanganui town centre. Would fully recommend staying here!

very nice, classic, plenty bedrooms, living room with dinning area and lovely house decorating. It should better to have one more shower room or combined rain shower with bathtub instead of alone bathtub.

Great location, handy to the local cafe's, pub and 4 Square for food shopping, only 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Oakura beach, we particularly like the secure backyard since we had our 2 dogs, we were able to relax knowing they couldn't get out. Thank you Kate, Paul and Sally (their dog🐶😊) for a relaxing stay.

After our intimate wedding ceremony in New Plymouth, with our adult children and their partners, we shared the weekend at the Oakura accommodation. It was a wonderful wedding venue and offered us everything we needed. Rosanna kindly allowed us an earlier check-in on our wedding day, which we greatly appreciated. Thank you Rosanna and Richard.

We had a lovely stay at Raymond's studio apartment. It is peaceful and private. Close to shops, cafes and major roads. The unit had everything we needed.

It was a great place—clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and well-located. The host was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend!

I can't recommend this place enough to be honest. The view is stunning, you feel like you are in a movie set waking up in the morning and walking out into the lounge. The decor and finishing is really tasteful and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the place. We've been here twice now and we'll be back again. It's just so nice to sit on balcony/deck and watch the stars. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and the waves are just perfect, with no rips, so you feel safe letting the (appropriately aged) kids get in on their own if you want. We were there late April and water temperature was absolutely fine. Go here, you won't be disappointed.

A fabulous stay in a beautiful surroundings. Loved the accommodation, outdoor fire and access to the tennis court which we made use of. Tash and Charlie were lovely and we enjoyed our conversations with them. Highly recommend if you’re looking for somewhere luxurious and peaceful. We will be back 🌸

The place is awesome, really suitable for relaxation and Greer is very helpful and always responsive. We really loved the place amd the treats imside the fridge especially the caramel bar. Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home, we enjoyed our stay despite of the weather. Highly recommended😊

Andrews house was perfect for our extended family to attend an event. Everything was great, large spacious rooms and had everything plus more that we needed. he communicated very well and was flexible with us checking out late due to a late ferry. Thank you and i hope to stay here again.

Absolutely outstanding property, totally private, fantastic views of the sea and of Mt. Taranaki. The setting is fantastic. Buy your groceries at the well-stocked New World in Waitara on your way to the property. There is also a Four Square at Urenui.
