This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Perfect for hunters, family or quiet get away. Beautifully located tucked away in nature's best, in the rolling hills of Southwest Iowa. You may experience wildlife, birds, deer, raccoons and more while strolling the many nature trails available. Or just breath in the fresh country air while enjoying coffee on the quiet patio. Located approximately 7 miles from our Beautiful Bedford where Unique shops, groceries, gas and medical help can be found.

Ethel Mae's Cottage

Welcome to Ethel Mae's Cottage! This newly renovated house is the perfect spot to be your home away from home for a weekend or more. The cottage includes a full kitchen with supplies to cook with, TV, Wifi, washer and dryer, and a spot inside the garage for your car. There are two bedrooms with full/queen beds, and a queen sofa sleeper in the living room accommodates additional guests. There is also a quiet sun room that has a twin day bed that is perfect for additional sleeping arrangements.

The Bennett Farmhouse has been in our family since 1940 & now cared for by its 4th & 5th generations. Our grandmother, who lived here is now in assisted living. It's hard for her to be away, so we created short stays so you can visit and so can she! Your stay helps preserve our farmhouse which features original farm sink, wood details, a wraparound porch with swings and antiques like the wind-up phone & more. Guests step back in time while making new memories at our family farm!

Country Escape

Experience the ultimate country retreat with this stunning Airbnb property. Nestled in countryside, the home offers a peaceful atmosphere and quiet surroundings, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of city life. Surrounded by nature, this spacious accommodation comfortably sleeps 10 people across 3 bedrooms and the pull-out couch in the living room. With the firepit area, a wood-burning fireplace, and two living rooms, this retreat provides the perfect setting for relaxation.

Restaurants, Tavern, and Specialty stores are right outside your door! If you'd like to eat in, use your full, private kitchen stocked with coffee, snacks, and condiments. Full Service Laundry is free and located in our downstairs store. We welcome hunters, business, and family travelers and aim to please. So be sure to let us know if there is anything you need. We're still hunting for period-correct trim for the space, so please be patient with us as we find these last few gems .

Elaine's Place

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place! Make Elaine's Cottage your home away from home while in the Bedford area whether that is for fun or for work. This comfortable, peaceful home has a spacious living room with a smart TV, full kitchen with newer appliances, a full bathroom another half bath, one bedroom with a queen size bed and another bedroom with 2 twin beds, washer/dryer and attached garage. The house is equipped with wifi and a dedicated work space.

Tucked in Tiled Retreat

This newly finished lower level unused area of my home is a perfect resting place after a long day of hunting or a weekend wedding event or reunion. You will have a separate entryway and entire lower level of my home to yourselves as my family's main floor living area is above. The entire space is tile for easy cleanup after a day outdoors. Feel free to use the full kitchen. There are 2 spacious bedrooms. (1 pack 'n play and 1 toddler cot available upon request).
