Explore the Ocala National Forest or launch your boat from the nearby ramp, just 4 miles away. Spend your days at the lake and enjoy meals at the restaurant bar & grill just across the street!

Flying Eagle Wildlife Management Area is right behind us. A private community boat ramp right next door. Five miles to Inverness and 30 minutes to Crystal River. This is the perfect central Florida location with so many things to see!

Leave your boat ready for convenient access to 8 miles of pristine largemouth and panfish lake fishing. Secluded canal with little to no boat traffic (just neighboring houses). I have a 20' bass boat that I navigate in and out of the canal easily(use of trolling motor on the short private canal is recommended).

Or hang out in the hammock, read, cook, relax, and watch wildlife. This open floor plan cottage has all amenities for comfort, relaxation, adventure, and getting away from it all. (Cabin is at end of a rugged 2-mile dirt road not suitable for sports cars.) As of March 2026, please note the drought means river levels are lower.

Spotted Dance Ranch is a small guest ranch and horse breeding facility that has been hosting guests since 2014. Come stay in our cozy Cowboy Cottage located on the beautiful ranch grounds, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the ranch located adjacent to the Croom Tract of the Withlacoochee State Forest! Whole 3 acre is your fenced private dog park! Bring your pups here for a great time! We found this house with a big yard and built a fence so that our dog Maga could roam free. Unfortunately, she left us before we move here. Then one guest's dog, Legend, ran unleashed for the first time in his life. We were so touched to see how happy he was. The yard is therefore named Legend’s Run. In memory of our dog Maga, who is a legend herself, hope to bring joy to you and your dogs!
