This place is a gem and if you are in the area book it with no hesitation! On the first floor in a beautiful historycal buildind, the property offers a huge space, beautifully decorated, very confortable, clean and pleasant. From the nice kitchen to the coffee corner in the closed balcony, everything is super enjoyable in this place. The hosts are amazing, they left us a christmas tree with jolly lights inside what a joy this was!

Very nice apartment. Very clean, cozy and had everything we needed. Cozy living room with a comfortable sofa. Comfortable beds and TV in the master bedroom. We enjoyed watching a bit of netflix after skiing. The kitchen is good and we cooked a few meals there. The instructions and communication with the host were great. Will definitely be looking to come back in the future!

The Berlin house is a great place to stay. It is very cozy and felt like home. Guðmundur was a good host. One regret I have is staying there with 8 other people as we had to keep quiet as there were other people staying in the same house. Awesome apartment none the less.

Excellent location with lots of space, great for a city getaway in Akureyri. Lots of restaurants close by and very easy to access.

Great stay, host welcomed us in and was very friendly. She also gave some local tips. The place was spacious and clean, the kitchen had everything you need to cook. Beds were comfy and towels and lots of soaps were provided too.

LOVED this place! Apartment was beautiful and clean. We were provided with clear instructions on how to get in as well as photos of the entrances and where to park. The location was perfect with many places to eat right across the street, including a breakfast place that was very good. Was also provided with a list of recommendations which was helpful. It also wasn’t too loud there even with being right in downtown. I would definitely stay here again, I felt very comfortable and it had everything I needed. Thank you!

Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und hat viel Platz. Wir sind zu dritt unterwegs und unser Sohn hatte ein eigenes Zimmer, das etwas abgetrennt lag. Perfekt für uns. Die Küche hat einen großen Tisch. Man kann dort gut zusammen essen. Im Badezimmer befindet sich die beste Dusche, die wir bisher auf Island vorgefunden haben. Sie ist groß, hat eine gleichbleibende Temperatur und einen Vorsprung, um diverse Duschgels abzustellen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einzig das Schlafzimmerbett hat eine wirklich zu weiche Matratze. Es fühlt sich an wie ein Wasserbett. Die Lage der Wohnung ist zentral mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten. Wir würden wiederkommen.

We had a wonderful stay in Akureyri! The accommodation was cozy, clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect—close to the town center. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting northern Iceland!

Very friendly host, that quickly responded to our messages. We were able to book the place on a very short notice. The place was according to the description and we had a wonderfull stay there. The apartment is located on a quiet street, with almost no traffic. Downtown and restaurants are only a few minutes walk away.

We had a wonderful stay at Guðlaugur's. The appartment was well located and with every useful equipment. We would definitely go back there.

This is a great place to stay, spacious and comfortable. it has everything you need. The location is great as it is walking distance to the town and loads of amazing sites in less than an hours drive. I definitely stay here again without hesitation. Make sure you check out the local swimming pool!

Great place with a great view - jacuzzi was absolutely spot on!

La mejor anfitriona que hemos tenido en nuestra estancia a Islandia, super atenta y agradable. Nos íbamos a quedar solo una noche pero nos pilló un temporal de nieve y nos permitió quedarnos una noche extra completamente gratis. A la mañana siguiente del temporal vinieron a limpiar os el camino con el tractor y nos ayudaron a sacar el coche. No podemos estar más agradecidos con el trato que nos han dado.

Við vorum mjög ánægðar með gistinguna á Tryggvagötu 24. íbúðin var alveg eins og á myndum og það fór vel um okkur vinkonurnar 6 saman. Nokkuð stutt í allt og stutt í búð. Myndum klárlega mæla með því að leigja íbúðina fyrir helgarferðir eða lengri stopp. Ketill var einnig mjög hjálplegur með allt og fljótur að svara

Great location. A few minutes walk to center and harbor. 1 hour drive from Husvarik (whale watching and geothermal spa - both recommended). Apartment has everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Sharing 1 bathroom between 5 was interesting but we managed fine. Andreas made sure we were happy! Nice bars and restaurants nearby. We loved the Curry House and the best place for breakfast was Berlin.
