The cottage was great. Rustic with a lot of character and reminded me of St Lawrence and Finger Lakes vacations when I was a kid. We've stayed at a number of places on the river over the years and this was the first time upon arrival I turned to my wife and said..."Now THIS is a river cottage." It had everything you could ever want to just be at the river and enjoy yourself. Susan was a great host, gave detailed, easy, and clear instructions and was very responsive.

The Cottage was wonderful! Fantastic place to get away from the daily hustle and enjoy time with the family boating, fishing and sightseeing! Morning coffee on the back porch was very relaxing start to each day and enjoying a nice beverage after dinner as you watched the sunset capped off the end of each day! The cottage had everything you need to enjoy your stay. I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a nice relaxing place to enjoy on the river.

The cozy cabin was adorable! It has a million dollar view of the River - we loved watching the freighters and other boats go by! We really enjoyed having bonfires as we watched all the action on The River. Jeff was great! He responded quickly to any questions or issues we had. We were able to launch our kayaks from the little sandy cove area on his property which was very convenient. The fishing was great around the island. We truly loved the peace & quiet of being at his place. We would love to stay again next year.

This is a nice clean cottage and we were all very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the sunporch where we had a great view of beautiful sunsets on the lake - I love that the shore is actually the front yard! I also got to see a lovely sunrise over the pond (which is right across the road) from the master bedroom. There are games and craft supplies available and we painted a rock to add to the collection left by other guests. Slept very well - can't beat falling asleep to the sound of the waves on the shore. On bad weather days we were able to log into the smart TV and watch movies or do a jigsaw puzzle on the sun porch. There is also an extensive DVD collection. Neighbors are friendly. The private beach is just a 10 minute walk away and so nice! Grocery store, restaurants, and Southwick Beach State Park are just a few minutes drive up the road. We were sad to say goodbye.

Sabrina's place was extremely quaint and a great experience. What a cool experience being on such a remote area. The second, small ferry operators were very friendly and a pleasure to see. Sabrina's property was extremely well taken care of and has everything you need. The views were incredible and beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place 😊

I can’t express how amazing this place was. There were signs made up all around the house to answer any questions you may have. I reached out to our hosts mid stay and got a response immediately. They even reached out to give us a heads up about possible power outages (we did not lose power). But I truly appreciated them reaching out as we were out at a wedding.

The house is cozy, comfortable and spacious. Great location with scenic lake view. Host is very responsive and check in is smooth. The whole family really enjoyed and loved the stay.

We had a great stay at the Grand Chalet. The resort grounds were very well kept with great outdoor spaces for relaxing and playing. Lake view was outstanding and peaceful. Hot tub was a big plus!

This was my second time starting at Serenity Bay Resort, and it just keeps getting better! These hosts keep the grounds so well maintained, there's so much for the kids to do, and the hottubs at the cottages are just a perfect touch! Always nice and clean and tidy, with everything needed for your stay. We will definitely be booking another getaway here!

Beautiful resort with lots of activities to do especially for the kids. Beds were super comfy and had lots of indoor games as well. Worth visiting during summer.

We Stayed at the Lakeview Farmhouse April 11-13th .We were celebrating our daughters 16th birthday . We had lots of room , the beds were comfortable and most importantly our daughter and friends had a Great Time celebrating with her friends . Highly Recimmend Serenty Bay Resort .

Such a special place. I was visiting my family for Thanksgiving and wanted to find a cottage that would accommodate a family of 5. By a stroke of luck I was able to book Kevin and Melissa’s place. (Due to a last minute cancellation). There was a full weekend of thanksgiving events. They went ALL out!! The trailer was so beautiful and comfortable. And the view from all the windows and deck are breathtaking. Wonderful place and wonderful people. Will definitely be back!

We cannot say enough good things about Ron and his place. It was beautiful and Ron made sure us girls were comfortable upon arrival. The home was clean, welcoming, and in a prime location. We will definitely be back!

This property can literally be described as heaven on earth! You feel like you've been transported to the Bahamas. It's the perfect place for any situation....whether you're bringing your family, small children, or significant other for a romantic getaway. The sand beach with sand bar after sand bar is too amazing for words. The water is shallow for quite a way out, meaning it warms up quickly in the sun. I would guess the water was 80° with areas that warm up to the 90s. Just perfect... As for the home itself, there were many beds to sleep in, beautiful living room and kitchen, game room area with a mini kitchenette, and even a master bedroom with balcony. Owners were very kind and accommodating. Highly recommend 🥰 We can't wait to come back!

While it would be easy to stay right there in this cozy cottage on beautiful Pillar Point , it is also a great location to go out and explore. Parks, hikes, restaurants, boat tours, and more are a close distance. We did Clayton for shopping and lunch at Bella’s, lunch in Sackets at 1812, Uncle Sam’s 2 National boat tour in Alex Bay, Salmon River Falls, and Robert Wehle State Park in Henderson. Erin was an excellent Host!!

Loved the location of the house right on Lake Ontario and the mouth of the Salmon River! Views were absolutely stunning! Felt like fishing paradise as the house was themed around the Salmon River and fishing. Great kitchen and plenty of space for guests. Everything was clean and perfectly situated. Can’t beat fishing right out back in the Salmon River estuary. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place.. KGH,HDH, and Queen’s university are within walking distance. And John is very helpful and was a great host.

While the weather didn’t cooperate for much of our week stay, we still had a great time. We loved the porch overlooking the river. The passing boats were a treat, especially for the grandkids. We also spent a great deal of time at the large kitchen table eating, playing games, etc. The house was clean and comfortable and roomy for our large group. FYI: On the 2nd floor you have to walk through one bedroom to get to another, and you have to walk through 2 bedrooms to get to the half bath. Also, don’t be alarmed when you see signs about not drinking the water in the photos. Drinking water is provided via a water cooler. Additionally, there are plenty of fans in the house if you get hot weather while there, not to mention a beautiful breeze off the river. Jeremy is super friendly and the location is great for exploring the area.

Great location with good sized deck overlooking the water, walkable to everything in downtown Clayton…parking could have been a problem mid-day but otherwise ideal

The house is centrally located. It has a spectacular view of the water. I loved that you could just walk to Casino Island and sit right on the chairs and watch the boats go by. You could also just stay at the house on the porch and relax on their porch furniture. There was plenty to do as far as museums and boat rides. You could just walk everywhere in town and leave the car behind. It's a short drive to Clayton. We really enjoyed ourselves.
