We made a huge mistake when only booking this place for part of our stay. My thought was to jump around the South Island with my family at a couple stops. Had I known it was this awesome, then I would’ve booked our whole time at Anna’s. This place is exactly what my family loves. The kids will definitely be complaining about where we stay next. This property is AWESOME.

Beautiful and cosy farm stay. Away from other other houses so we could be in complete darkness at night and see the Milky Way! Charlotte was very quick with her responses and Chad was kind enough to show us the calves and the farm.

This was a comfortable and warm place to stay with the family. It had everything we needed which was helpful for a long stay. The location is peaceful and there are beautiful sunrise views from the cottage. The hosts are amazingly friendly and made our stay feel very special.

Ian and Tia were very loving hosts and attentive to whatever we needed. The cottage is fully equipped to spend a few relaxing days there.

We had an amazing time at the lodge with 16 adults for a birthday weekend, plenty of space for everyone, relaxed check in and check out, well equipped and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great place to stay in the country. Perfectly located 5 minutes from Timaru.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at James's place and it was equally as good as the 1st time. For us Racing at Levels was magic, just being down the road. We were able to relax within a few minutes of the track. Plenty of room for a big Race Trailer. James a very responsive host and very helpful with early check in and being able to leave the trailer for an extra couple of hours after checkout. If James will have us & the house is free we will definately be staying again

We had a truly wonderful stay at Matt and Adele’s home. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The house is beautifully decorated and full of cozy touches—the piano in the living room, the artwork on the walls, and the subtle scent of incense all created a peaceful, homely atmosphere. They also have a charming garden, and on our first day, the golden sunset over the flowers and plants felt like something out of a dream. The garden is full of vegetables and fruits, and Matt kindly offered us some raspberries he had grown himself—a natural and delightful experience. One of the highlights of our stay was their adorable dog, Zack. He would always be the first to greet us when we came back, full of affection and energy. We even took him for runs along the nearby trails, which brought us so much joy and fun. Thank you, Matt and Adele, for giving us such a warm and unforgettable experience. We wish you all the best！

Tracy's place is such a peaceful location with great views of the mountains. Everything you need for a comfortable relaxing stay. We thoroughly recommend to other guests.

Casey was a superb and friendly host—she went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The house was warm and ready when we arrived, spotless throughout, and in a great location. All the amenities were thoughtfully provided. Very good host and Airbnb—highly recommended!

Another lovely stay at The Cowman/Gardener's Cottage. We always love coming here. The house is warm and cosy and feels like a home away from home, thanks to thoughtful details provided by Anna. The birdsong and surrounding forest make for a beautiful location to relax and rest in. Comfortable beds, good showers, a well supplied kitchen, open fire, and lots of places to sit and read books. We can highly recommend this place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Waikonini Homestead! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed with tea and cake, setting the tone for a truly delightful experience. We stayed one night in ‘Owen’s Room’, and as no other guests were booked during our visit, the homestead felt wonderfully tranquil. The warm, cozy bed made for an incredibly comfortable night, and the meals were a perfect finish to the night. Dinner (prebooked) featured a fish pie, followed by a mince tart with homemade custard—comfort food at its very finest. Mary, our host, truly made the experience unforgettable. Her warm hospitality and engaging conversations about travel, dogs, and life made us feel completely at home. And her delightful Corgis, Peppi and Anne—oh, they were absolutely adorable! The homestead itself is a treasure—an elegant old home surrounded by stunning grounds that invite you to relax and explore. The perfect blend of timeless charm and modern comfort.

This is a wonderful space for any traveller. The location and stay is unique with a vintage touch. Mary is a warm and considerate host.

Lovely house with a charming country feel. The interior is spacious, with plenty of room to relax. We especially loved the large fireplace, and the big windows that let you enjoy the surrounding nature. The area is peaceful and quiet, making it an ideal getaway. The host was very kind — she allowed us an early check-in.
