The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

Very nice cabin. Everything was clean. Comfortable beds. Hot tub was great after hikes. We enjoyed our stay very much.

I would highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway weekend! The cabin itself is bright and beautiful and the host was incredibly responsive. Stargazing in the hot tub was absolutely the highlight!

We had a fantastic time at the cabin! The place is adorable and we loved looking at the deer and stars at night from the hot tub. Short drive from Shenandoah and nearby restaurants. 100% would recommend.

The digital guide they provided was outstanding—packed with helpful details that enhanced our stay. The property itself was fantastic. The rooms were not only comfortable but also spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The amazing supplies available mean you only need to bring your family, clothes and pups. I recommend checking the spice rack before heading to Food Lion—you likely won’t need much, as the kitchen is impressively stocked. The game room and hot tub were a huge hit with the teens, keeping them entertained for hours. The location was also ideal, with easy access to Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns. We had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s cabin. The space was clean and comfortable, and the views of the surrounding property were beautiful. Sarah went out of her way to make us feel both welcome and at home. In fact, she left us breakfast supplies, including fresh eggs and homemade muffins! (She even left us supples to make s’mores!) The location was super convenient for us to visit the Virginia Safari Park and the Natural Bridge State Park as well.

The view from the porch is absolutely beautiful. We loved the covered porch so very much easy access to the highway. I would stay again and hope to.

This cabin was perfect for weekend in the woods. My partner and I loved walking the trails to the. various spots around the property. We traveled to the Warm Springs for a soak while in the area!

What an absolute gem! Rebecca’s cabin had every single thing you could want or need for a stay. The decor was eccentric and fun! Every nook was stocked with games dvds records and cozy blankets. The backyard felt like a dream! We had so much fun exploring the creeks for rocks and the 2 minute walk to the river for a quick dip was perfection. 10/10 !!!

We had a wonderful stay at this amazing private cabin in the woods. Comfortable, clean, quiet and relaxing - the cabin is thoughtfully modernized and equipped with everything you could need. We thoroughly enjoyed walking the trails, fishing in the river (found smallmouth, pickerel, and bluegill) and relaxing by the firepit. Our dog enjoyed the trip as much as we did, and we never heard or saw another person in three days! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful private property!

We spent two nights at the stargazer cabin. Right form the moment we pulled up in the driveway, we knew this would be a perfect spot for us. The cabin overlooks a stunning view of the valley. You are surrounded by sounds of nature and clean air. We spent most of our waking hours on the deck just soaking in the sun/breeze and the numerous bird songs. Culin and Danielle were very responsive and respectful in all our communications. The cabin is well appointed, very clean, and the bed is super comfortable for a peaceful night's sleep. Our 4 year old Aussie Pup loved to be away from the din of the city and get her fix of the sights/sounds/smells of the woods. We will be back to the stargazer cabin.

Beautiful home and location, would return!

Exactly as described; beautiful and serene property! The views are spectacular and having the horses and cows right around your cabin was so enjoyable to watch. A true cabin experience, but with modern amenities of running water and electricity. Very charming and comfortable cabin on a beautiful piece of property. I would highly recommend the cabin experience.

This place is beautiful highly recommend I went away from my 26th birthday and I’m so glad that I picked this place such a calming getaway from 40+ hour work weeks the cabin is immaculate in the woods and extremely beautiful and relaxing. Ksenia is also really nice and super responsive and helpful. we honestly didn’t have to reach out much because she already thought of it all!

This cabin was beautiful! The interior was gorgeous with elegant and quality furnishings. The house was well stocked with many items which was so nice. The views and setting were stunning! Every window and door gave you majestic views of mountains and wildlife! The porch as AMAZING as was the fire-pit! To top it off there is a trampoline which I enjoyed channeling my inner child all with Mountain View’s! The hiking trail was exceptionally well done which we enjoyed. The hosts were amazing in responses and help and the welcome touches were so appreciated. What a way to celebrate retirement! We will be back!

Pieter and Jenna's place was ideal for us after a day of hiking. Peaceful, quiet and close to the AT. Price was very reasonable in comparison to others and it was not a hotel. We just needed an overnight quiet place to sleep, make dinner and breakfast and back on the trail and then back home. Our goal was not to hang out, but it might have been nice to use or bring a Solo Stove Fire Pit. Their place was VERY clean, looked new, easy check in and check out. Not a big fridge or microwave but worked just fine for our needs. There is no door between the bathroom/laundry room and the bedroom, just small swinging saloon doors. Which is fine, as long as you understand that you don't have the kind of privacy you may be used to at home. All-in-all, it was a nice place to stay and would come back again.

One of the best airbnb's we've stayed at, and the best for the price! Extremely clean and well-stocked kitchen, and i loved the island eating area👌 the hot tub never disappointed (the floor lock for the rear door sticks a little bit but just takes a little jostling to unlock) and the fireplace was more than enough to keep the living room warm despite near freezing temps. We didn't use the game room but it was nice to see a second living area downstairs. Directions to the house were initially a little confusing but once we realized it was a block away from the main road we never got lost again. Can't wait to come back! David's place is one of the nicest spots we've been to. The log cabin is gorgeous, feels private, and is so well designed and decorated. If we had stayed longer, I would have loved to use the reading nook with the lovely view of the stream at night. The bed, couches, and chairs were all very comfortable and we loved spending the morning relaxing, drinking tea, and listening to the creek from the porch. My husband and I would love to come back for longer and spend more time exploring the outdoor spaces. My husband would have definitely used the grill. We drove through Shenandoah the next day, which was beautiful.

We found everything as listed and even better! The cabin is cozy but not crowded. Rustic but not rough. Glamping without all the glitter! Every thing we needed to unplug for a couple of days feeling like we had to pack for every need. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the cabin for a getaway - hideaway.

We cannot say enough great things about the owners and this beautiful cabin!! If you are thinking about booking, think no more and do it! Not only was it absolutely beautiful on the inside but the area outside of the cabin made us feel like we were in our own sweet world. We saw deer, squirrels, so many birds, it was on the river and it was dreamy. The cabin itself was so fun! To stay in a real log cabin was a bucket list item and it was very pristine. There were wonderfully helpful notes all around to help us out and did I mention it was beautiful?!???

The Cabin was really nice; very clean and modern, really liked the space. The AC didn't work very well, so it did get a little hot at times, but there are 2 big ceiling fans that worked well to keep it tolerable, that would be my only real complaint though was just temperature. There was a little snafu with the gate being locked at the entrance/exit of the property when we tried to exit, but they responded quickly to get it resolved. Overall it was a very nice cabin, and we really enjoyed our stay; would definitely recommend it.
