Look out at Hallgrímskirkja just outside the picture windows with volcanic mountain ranges in the distance. This renovated Icelandic home is filled with comforts, artisanal touches, books, and local art—all a warm welcome after a day of sightseeing. Guests staying in the flat have a fully equipped kitchen, including dishwasher, microwave, stove, and oven, and a spacious living area with artisanal dining table and Danish design couch, in addition to a quiet bedroom and wonderful shower with optimal water pressure. Other amenities include Wi-fi television with complementary Netflix access, high-speed Wi-fi, and washing-machine use. There is also free parking on the street in front of the apartment, and by Hallgrímskirkja. The apartment is ideal for a couple or solo traveller seeking a cozy, private space to get great sleep in support of Icelandic adventures. It is also suitable for longer-stay guests who desire a central home to support work in the city. Due to the walk-up staircase, the apartment is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. Cross the street to Hallgrimskirkja and take a few steps more to Laugavegur, the main street with cafes, restaurants, bars, galleries, and shops. It's ten minutes on foot to Harpa, the National Theater, the National Gallery, and other attractions. A five-minute walk takes you to Sundhöllin, the oldest swimming pool in Reykjavik; it has an indoor pool with outdoor thermal pools and a sauna - worth a visit. When arriving in the city by bus from Keflavík Airport (recommended, at 20 USD per head), you would find yourself at the central bus station (BSÍ), which is a ten-minute walk to the apartment, or a few minutes by taxi. Most buses from the airport will, if asked, drop you off at Hallgrímskirkja, Hótel Leifur Eiríksson, or Café Loki, all within a minute´s walk from the apartment. Buses returning from sight-seeing tours, Northern lights tours and such, will usually have their drop-off points at Hallgrímskirkja across the street, or at Einar Jónsson Art Museum, an arm's length away from the apartment. Hotels in the area, some within a minute's walk, have easy pick-up for those leaving for the airport. Apartment is officially registered at the City council of Reykjavík, as specified by local laws. Fabulous Penthouse Apartment in the Heart of Reykjavik

This fabulous penthouse apartment is on the 4th floor with an incredible oceanview over the old harbor. Our apartment is located in downtown, the best location possible location in Reykjavik. The 200 m2 apartment is with amazing view of the old harbor and Hallgrímskirkja. The kitchen is open and fully equipped with all the kitchen appliances you need. Dishwasher, coffee machine etc. Adjoining the kitchen is the dining area with a very large table for up to 20 people where you can enjoy the expectacular view. Along the dining area is one of the living rooms decorated with comfortable but stylish furniture's. The other living room big sofa, TV and walkable to the balcony. The balcony is very spacious with great view over the midtown and Hallgrímskirkja The apartment has three bedrooms are approx. 25 fm2 with queen size beds and spacious closets. All bedrooms have smartTV and private bathrooms with showers. There is heat in the floor, very high ceilings and the apartment is located on the 4th floor with very nice neighbours. On the first floor is an art Gallery. You will have access to all you might need, free WIFI, clean towels and necessities for cooking, oil, sugar, coffee, spices etc. The check out time is at 12:00 noon and check in at 15:00 or later if you wish. This is the common rule but we take other times into consideration if requested. We are very hospitable and friendly owners so please do not hesitate to contact us. Set in the city centre by the old harbor, the flat is a stone’s throw away from the Reykjavik Art Museum and The National Gallery of Iceland, as well as shops and cafes. Take a stroll along the Sculpture and Shore Walk, then stop at Kopar for dinner.

Our home is 4min walk from Rvk BSI Bus Terminal which can come in handy after a long flight. The main shopping street Laugavegur is also near by in a 10min walking distance.

Welcome to the newly renovated farmhouse in Esjuberg, where you sleep by the roots of the mountain. This house truly has it all, from a beautiful ocean view, horses in the backyard, and a phenomenal view over Reykjavik. Esjuberg plays a big part in a very interesting Icelandic Viking story called the Kjalnesinga Saga.
