Located at the edge of the Wrangel St. Elias National Park, Green Gables is just minutes from the Copper River. Such a place to explore! If you’re Alaskan, come while the salmon run and get your fish! With the Chugiak mountains as your back drop this home boasts a full kitchen, laundry and bath with three queen beds. A perfect layover and midway for McCarthy/Kennicott and Valdez!

Copperville B & B - Mt. Wrangell Apartment

Come enjoy a 900 sq. ft. apartment with a queen memory foam bed in the bedroom, a queen memory foam bed and a futon in the living room. A complete kitchen is included. We are just across the Copper River from the Wrangell/St. Elias National Park. The Copper River is within walking distance. Both the Gulkana and the Klutina Rivers are about 15 miles away. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Enjoy beautiful view of the wrangle mountain range in the backyard off the covered patios. Washer/dryer provided, house is operated with a water holding tank that holds approximately 450 gallons of water. More water can be provided if need at water delivery rate($100). Kenny lake mercantile is located 6 miles down the road that has many amenities and convenience items as well as a hardware store(Wengers) approximately 9 miles away.

Hannah’s Hideaway • Dog Friendly 3 Bedroom Cabin

Hannah’s Hideaway is a cozy one-story, three-bedroom cabin with two queen beds and one king. There’s a small sofa and chair for relaxing, and a full kitchen with microwave and all the basics. One bathroom has hot water, electricity, and internet. Dogs are welcome. A charcoal grill is ready for experienced users, and a firepit can be enjoyed when burn bans allow. The cabin sits on our 320-acre homestead in rural Kenny Lake, surrounded by forest, open skies, and quiet, a true Alaskan escape.

Near the Wrangell- St. Elias National Park, a short drive (in Alaska terms!) from spectacular towns like Valdez and McCarthy, explore the best of Alaska’s interior lands. Walk or drive into Copper Center for a coffee, beer, or snack from the unique local establishments or fish for some of the biggest salmon in the world right out your back door. Located on our family homestead circa 1963, this is Grammie's home with some mobility aids available. Centrally located in the Copper River Country, this is a great base to explore the region or take day trips to Valdez, McCarthy, or Nabesna. The region is beautiful and full of history and culture.
