Great for visiting the local tourists attractions, such as the UNESCO Blaenavon World Heritage center, the Brecon Beacons, castles, roman ruins and St. Fagans. Fast road to the M4 if visiting the coast. Dogs are welcome. Free on street parking and the local valley train to Cardiff Central Station just 6 mins walk away.

Ty Pentref is nestled right in the heart of of Cwmcarn village, very close to the beautiful Cwmcarn Scenic Drive, mountain biking trails and Twmbarlwm walks. We are less than 20 miles from Cardiff City. Within a 1 Hr drive, you can reach Cardiff Bay, Wye Valley, Black Mountains, Brecon Beacons (Bannau Brycheiniog) Forest of Dean, Bristol and Hereford. A little further, approx and hour and 20 mins you can visit beautiful beaches and towns in the Mumbles and The Gower.

A self-contained, private annexe attached to a beautiful old Welsh farmhouse on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. Built in 1870, the space has high ceilings with beautiful traditional wooden beams and stone walls. Located at the top of a hill, the property boasts views of the surrounding countryside, with a quiet cycle path (National Cycle Route 466) bordering the back of the property, which leads straight into the Brecon Beacons National Park.
