Old Salting Barn: Brecon Beacons Historic Cottage

The Old Salting Barn dates back to the 17th Century & forms part of a charming range of old farm buildings at Llandetty Hall Farm, situated in the heart of the stunningly beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park. Set in 15 acres of private pasture on the Mon Brec canal & between the villages of Talybont on Usk & Llangynidr. The barn boasts a log burner & use of the adjacent communal games barn. It uses electricity created by our solar panels & is heated by our new & efficient heat pump system.

The Bwthyn - a riverside rural retreat

The Bwthyn - a tiny cruck-beamed cottage, situated at the confluence of two streams, tastefully restored to offer a place of peace in beautiful surroundings in the Brecon Beacons National Park, close to Pen y Fan & Black Mountains. You will immediately feel relaxed as you immerse yourself in the surrounding nature. Lounging chairs on the decking provide the perfect place for your morning coffee listening to the birds sing and soak away your stress in the wood fired hot tub then cosy up in front of the log burner and enjoy the tranquility of the woodland.

We welcome cyclists and have secure lock up for bikes, use of track pump, work stand ,hose etc. No children under 12.

Bumble Bee Cottage

Spacious one bedroom cottage, barn conversion. Called Bumble Bee cottage because of all the bumble bees in the flower garden and wild flowers. In a woodland setting one and a half miles from Llangorse and three miles from Talgarth. On a farm with sheep and horses, within the Brecon Beacons National Park and dark sky reserve. Underfloor heating, wood burning stove, king size bed and double bath with shower. It has a few steps inside and out. Well behaved dogs welcome upon request.

Our stylish & cosy hideaway is the ultimate escape where you can re-wild yourself in acres of tranquility. Wander straight out the door onto the mountains taking in some breathtaking views. Return home to the sauna, soothe tired limbs & then relax by spinning some vinyl from the record collection, whilst the log burner crackles & the owls enthusiastically serenade as dusk sets in! (plus we now have an indoor padel ball court for you to exercise your inner Federer!!)

Hidden down a cobbled lane, this 18th century workers cottage has oodles of charm. An open fireplace, oak beams and traditional furniture allows you to step back in time and really relax. But there is still the benefit of modern life; wifi and a power shower! There are so many walks in the area: The Brecon canal, river Usk and Crickhowell are all close. Crickhowell has a selection of independent shops, pubs and cafes. Walking guides and maps are provided.
