Trempealeau : locations de vacances

This farmhouse was such a special place for us to stay. We had traveled to MN for the funeral of my grandmother. The house was very roomy for my family of five plus my parents and our 2 dogs. Everything was exactly as described in the listing. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The views at sunrise or sunset were breathtaking. It was so relaxing spending the evening by the outdoor fireplace! Rich made sure the wood supply stayed fully stocked. Pearl and Diesel were such sweethearts! My daughter loved playing with them. Rich went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great and he definitely exceeded that. We hope to be able to visit again in the future!

This home was incredibly peaceful and exactly as described in the Airbnb listing. I loved the proximity to the Twin Cities, yet we felt like we were in another land with how quiet and accommodating the location was for a weekend gathering. The house is well stocked, especially the kitchen, and extremely cozy. The river view was just spectacular, and the east facing home meant stunning sunrises. The bald eagles were out in great numbers and our bonfire by the river was truly magical. We loved exploring the small towns on both the MN and WI side of the river and felt like we were going home at the end of a day of exploring. We were lucky to have a gorgeous sunny Saturday, but this home would be gorgeous in any weather with all the natural light. The host is very responsive and she made our family gathering with my adult children one of my treasured memories this year. I would not hesitate to make Frontenac a vacation destination and this home is truly a rare gem among the many options.

This house is absolutely beautiful. It is decorated very tastefully and had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit and the ability to see all of the stars without extra ambient light sources. The smores fixings that were provided was a very nice touch. We loved the quiet location, but some might find the distance from the nearest town (about 15 minutes) a slight negative. We personally loved driving through the beautiful countryside, seeing the Amish with their horse drawn buggies and just planned our activities appropriately so we were able to get the supplies we needed when we were near a town. Natasha was very responsive. Her place had all the extras which was really nice not to have to pack, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, towels, crockpot, pots/pans, pizza cutter, etc. Very close to 3 bears, so quick walk across the street (in the resort neighborhood) to the Waterpark!

Bill and Nicole's house is immaculate and very centrally located in Decorah. They have thought of everything you might need for a stay and keep a very clean and attractive house. The walkability is excellent; easy access to the grocery store, coffee shop and several very good restaurants. With a little bit more walking it's easy to get to Pulpit Rock Brewery (excellent) and several more restaurant choices. The hosts are very responsive - we had a few questions about the house and they answered immediately. Overall this is is a fantastic place for a stay. Highly recommended.

Beautiful. Very quiet and easy access to venture out if desired. Will be returning!

A beautiful place to stay! We loved the view of the lake and how close it was to restaurants. We always look for places with a good table to play games with 8-10 people and this was perfect for us. Eric & Sandy were very attentive and mindful of what we may need. Hoping to stay here again sometime in the future!

Our stay in the House made for a great weekend the view was excellent the house was very accomodating and our host was helpfull answering any questions. We would definently stay here again.

This was a perfect place to stay for a little friends reunion with our littles.
