Award winning beach (Woolacombe sands) , is only a seven minute drive away. Directly from your doorstep, you set foot on a costal path which takes to Lee bay, Woolacombe. Pets will be considered.

West Down has an amazing pub with good food a village shop 3 mins walk away and easy access to the Coast path and Exmoor.

Skirr Cottage was the home of the acclaimed writer Henry Williamson who is best known as the author of Tarka the Otter. With its pretty whitewashed exterior the cottage is set next to a trickling stream next to the historic Norman church of St. George in the heart of Georgeham village. Putsborough surfing beach is a 25 minute walk via fields or via a lane. or 5 minute drive. The Kings Arms and 17th century Rock Inn serving gastro pub food are 1 minute and a 4 minute walk away.
