Wendale Barn is a beautifully renovated, compact, detached building, the perfect place to relax on the edge of Cheddar. With private patio, decking & stunning views of the local lake & Glastonbury Tor. Private, romantic, the ideal getaway, with a double bed upstairs & sofa-bed in the living room; although it is open plan, so the shared space isn’t private. Access is via a series of steps up the hillside, some garden terraces are up to 1.1m high without guardrails, there is also a shallow pond.

Quirky Tin Cottage near the Mendip Hills

Our cottage is a quirky wooden framed, tin clad cottage, sitting on the banks of a stream, next to our house. Although small it feels much bigger with a fully equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. It can sleep 4 people with the use of the sofa bed. It features a wood burning stove, (it also has central heating ;-)), a gorgeous mural across one wall, a veranda for sitting and watching the world go by, oh and it also has full WiFi, smart TV and sound system if this all sounds a little rustic.

The Retreat Blagdon Self Contained Annexe

Set within beautiful village at foot of the Mendips with shop, pubs and lake. Priced for two guests. Additional guests fee of £12. S/C Annex with own entrance attached to main cottage. Check in from 2pm to 10pm unless previously agreed. Can be flexible with check in, please ask before booking. Check out by 11am. 10 mins drive to Bristol Airport, 2 mins to Coombe Lodge, 5mins to Aldwick Court Estate. Double bed, single and a trundle in lounge if required. Sleeps three for short stays.

Cottage in Chew Valley with real log fire

This cosy country cottage within the village of Chew Stoke is perfect for a couple or small family looking for a getaway, walking distance to Chew Valley Lake, a short drive to Chew Magna with its award winning pubs and restaurants and equidistant to Bristol, Bath, Wells and Cheddar. There is a king size bed upstairs, large wardrobe, and bathroom with shower and bath. Downstairs the living room has a real fire with wood burning, oak floors, smart tv and sofa bed. Well behaved dogs welcome.

Lake Loft

Lake Loft is a self-contained room above a recently built oak garage overlooking Blagdon Lake. Set in the grounds of our home in the quiet but beautiful village of Blagdon, we are about 20 mins from Wells, 25 mins from Bristol and 45 mins from Bath, there are plenty of things to do and places to explore. The room is open plan, with a king sized bed, sofa, table and chairs and shower room. Whilst there is no kitchen, there are excellent pubs and cafes close by perfect for a relaxing break.

Harptree Hideaway

Harptree Hideaway is close to historic Bath, vibrant Bristol and Wells with its Cathedral and Bishops Palace. We are very close to Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole. We are surrounded by fabulous pubs and places to visit e.g Chew Valley Lake, famous for its bird watching. East Harptree is a beautiful village with lovely walks and woods accessible straight from the door. The apartment is of a high standard with separate bathroom, bedroom and lounge/kitchen. It is spacious, comfortable and cosy.

The Beehive, at Snatch Farm, Ubley is a new refurbishment of old farm buildings, tucked round the back of Snatch Farm. There is 1 double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, open plan sitting /dining room and bathroom. Surrounded by countryside this is a truly peaceful place. Perfect for couples or individuals to explore the beautiful Chew Valley and Mendip Hills and the cities of Bristol, Bath and Wells. The Beehive is next to our family home with access via our garden. Ground floor, fully self-contained studio accommodation in a traditional Farmhouse on a small working farm. Situated in beautiful countryside in the Mendip Hills AONB, but conveniently located for Bristol Airport (3.9 miles), Central Bristol (12 miles) and the Cities of Bath (18 miles) and Wells (12 miles). The Cabin is a very peaceful, beautiful, cosy, full wooden build with full gas central heating and valley views. It's a great base for walks / cycling or a relaxing vacation. It is within easy reach of historic towns such as Bath, Bristol, Weston Super Mare and Wells with its Cathedral and Bishop's Palace. We are very close to Cheddar Gorge caves and Wookey Hole caves. There are plenty of nearby pubs and places to visit e.g Chew Valley / Blagdon lake both famous for its bird watching .
