Located due south of Cahal Pech Archeological Reserve and just minutes from downtown, Lost Compass Cabanas is ideally situated for those travelers torn between being amidst the culture and cuisine of the city or the nature and tranquility of the surrounding jungle. Constructed entirely of Belizean hardwoods, the Toucan Cabana features a screened-in porch, Queen-size bed, full kitchen, and full bathroom. All furnishings and shelving have been locally designed and made specifically for the cabana!

A two bedroom cabana with an en-suite kitchen, and full en-suite bathroom with shower and hot water, air conditioning is optional . The kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, kettle, coffee maker, mini fridge, dishes and cutlery, and stove top. There is a double bed in one bedroom and a bunk bed in the other bedroom. There is a sofa in the common area as well as a table and chairs. This cabana sleeps up to 4 persons. We also have a newly built swimming pool 40 ft by 20 ft for all guess to use.

One bedroom does not have AC, but it features a window and a fan that provides a pleasant, cool breeze , a complete kitchen, and Wi-Fi. You'll also enjoy a small, private hiking trail, a scenic cliff at the back of the property, and a BBQ grill. Located in Cayo, this property is just a 5-minute drive to the main road and 20 minutes from both San Ignacio and Belmopan.

We've done some renovations, the road was paved in 2020 (no more rough road!) and BOTH electricity (no more generator) and wi-fi became available in 2019! Please note: A/C is only in the two bedrooms.
