Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

Our place is a self-contained one bedroom annexe located in the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The annexe comprises an open plan living area with kitchenette on the ground floor, with a bedroom and en-suite bathroom on the first floor. The annexe has its own front door and free parking is available onsite for one vehicle. The property is located in a thriving village with a pub, butcher, bakery and general store. The village is close to many popular Cotswolds destinations.

Easy reach for Clarkson’s Farm, Soho Farm House and Daylesford.

Traditional stone cottage situated in the beautiful North Cotswolds. Spacious and clean with everything you need for a country getaway. We are dog friendly and the parish of Brailes has 25 miles of footpaths and bridleways to explore. The Cotswold Distillery and Whichford Pottery are only a short drive, Clarkson’s Farm, Chipping Campden and Stratford upon Avon all also within 20 minutes. We are lucky enough to have a wonderful butcher and French patisserie in our village.

New high spec bathrooms and bespoke kitchen with brand new appliances and underfloor heating on the whole of the ground floor. Two lovely bedrooms in the eaves, one with ensuite shower room, king size beds, ELLE Decoration pillow top mattresses, Egyptian cotton bedding, fluffy towels and black out blinds.

Valley View is set on a 54 acre Cotswold small holding, home to many animals including a homebred pony called Mio, and a small flock of Herwick sheep. It’s a fantastic location to soak up some of the finest Cotswolds scenery. Towns nearby include the northern Cotswold star trio, Moreton in Marsh, Bourton on the Water, Stow on the Wold. Our Mirror Houses are located in a remote area of a family-run farm near the Oxfordshire village of Kirtlington. They are hidden away in woodland in the grounds of the Kirtlington Park Polo Club, next to a Capability Brown-designed lake. Surrounded by stunning landscape and reflecting the trees and nature around them, the Mirror Houses offer a peaceful and idyllic retreat from city life.
