Field Trip Unit 2 Canvas Cabin

Field Trip is a unique, 23-unit Glampground in Traveler's Rest, SC. All of our Canvas Cabins, Bell Tents, Geo Domes, & A-frames have access to the Lodge, Camp Store, bathrooms, hot tub, sauna and cold plunge. Unit 2 is one of our small canvas cabins. A hybrid between a wooden cabin and a canvas tent, it is the cutest little home away from home. Perfect for 2 people, this cabin features a queen sized bed. Heat & AC, luxury bedding, coffee maker, outdoor seating area, private outdoor fire pit.

This safari tent is the definition of GLAM. Decked out with vintage ’50s-- furniture, fur, feathers, pinks, golds, and chrome. Glam exudes the romance of the 50’s movies and Marilyn Monroe. The lighting is warm and cozy, and the beds are luxurious. One Queen and a twin w/ trundle daybed (gel memory foam mattresses). Carl’s Mountain Belle tent is conveniently located minutes from Long Creek SC, 20 minutes from Rabun County GA and one hour from Highlands NC. Come see what these mountains have to offer- restaurants, shopping, golf, hiking, and rafting the Chattooga River! Although this is a glamping experience, with amenities like a camp shower and toilet, this is still CAMPING. Familiarize yourself with camping protocols like campfire safety and wildlife encounters including insects and spiders.

Bring your clothes and food and you are camping but connected. We have electricity, a fridge, camp kitchen and all the solitude you can soak up. Enjoy our fire place and go walking or fishing at our local lake. We have electric blankets if there is a cool evening and a huge canopy if it rains ...... you will want to stay a while.

Ditch primitive camping-Enjoy the luxuries of glamorous camping! Leave your mattress pads/sleeping bags at home! Sleep on the queen bed complete with mattress and fresh linens. Relax on the deck overlooking the creek, or take advantage of our 26 acres; hike/take a guided horse ride (with our trainers) on our private trails at Alpine South!

Lakeside Camping Deck

This is a primitive camping site. The deck features several rocking chairs, tables, and plenty of space to camp out! Feel free to set up your tents on the deck or on the ground below. Site also features a grill and fire ring. On the Chattooga Belle Farm property located in Long Creek, SC. Just minutes away from the famous Chattooga Belle Farm Distillery. There is a outhouse with a toilet approximately 100 yards away. We highly suggest bringing your own toilet paper.
