We stayed here for our 10-year anniversary with our two kids and our little dog, and it was just perfect. Mornings were misty and magical—watching the sunrise while the kids tore up and down the road on their bikes. My wife got some good Comrades training in, and we all enjoyed the fresh country air and some bird watching. The cottage had everything we needed and was super comfy and clean. We made breakfast together, sipped wine by the fire in the evenings, and just soaked up some real quality family time. Phillipa is an excellent host and very responsive to all our questions, we would love to return here someday!

Beautiful view from almost every room, inside is very modern , solar but also Eskom electricity on those rainy days made a big difference. Clean rooms and bathrooms Private and very safe area Few nice hikes inside the estate easily accessed from the house which was great fun Thank you for a lovely stay

You can’t go wrong with this place. Ingrid had everything I needed for my stay. Great amenities in the area, great and tranquil house. I would book it again again if I am in the area.

A very neat place with a wonderful view. We stayed before going to hike and James had wonderful advise, was very kind and even provided us with water after asking if we would be able to drink the tap water.

Beautiful scenery! We enjoyed our overnight stay at the cottage, breaking up our trip from Joburg to the South Coast. We woke up to beautiful weather and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and multiple seating areas. The evening was very cold but the heater and electric blanket helped. I recommend packing warm clothes and slippers. Shann was a great host, very helpful and responsive. We would come back to enjoy more peaceful time at the cottage.

The Perfect house with. the most incredible unobstructed views of the Moutain. The house was spacious and comfortable and we felt very safe being in a secure estate. Lovely to also have a variety of aminals on your doorstep.

It was great. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. I loved the free fresh farm milk in the fridge. We really enjoyed our peacful time. Lounge had nice big comfy couches, TV and Netflix. Bedroom were spacious, big beds. Great decor, special touches. Was fabulous

What a wonderful place.... The home, the estate, the views were all spectacular. Our host ensured that all our possible needs were met beforehand. Clear, easy instructions. Very well fitted home, all possible appliances, dishes, charcoal, etc. available. Recommend this place very highly!!!

The Mountain View Villa was beautiful and such a peaceful place to be. Definitely got the relaxation needed! The house is as mentioned and so cute! Thank you for a wonderful stay and being such great hosts!!🌸

This rustic abode took us completely by surprise! Both the hosts were so lovely and accommodating ensuring prompt responses. The staff at the accommodation were exceptional ensuring all our needs were taken care of. With regard to the accommodation itself it was just like being at home. Being able to bring along my puppy was just the cherry on top! The surrounding attractions are located a reasonable distance from the accommodation with the N3 highway a 30 minute drive away. I would really recommend a stay here if you want an amazing view of the stars and landscape, visits by gentle cows, thoughtful amenities and a memorable experience on a whole. I’d recommend using a vehicle with good ground clearance as the drive (especially during the rain) can be tricky with a lower car ! I’ll definitely be returning!

Het verblijf bij Sandra was geweldig. we kregen een heel warm welkom. Het appartement is gelegen op een farm. Zeer mooie omgeving waar ook zebra's, kudu's en giraffen rondlopen. De weg er naar toe was wel wat lastig door de potholes. Mooi uitzicht vanuit alle slaapkamers. Sandra was zeer goed bereikbaar en heeft voor ons ook naar de wibe estate gebeld om te vragen of er nog plek was. Zeer fijn appartement en een zeer lieve gastvrouw.

We had an amazing weekend at Emfuleni.. The house was great and we had everything we needed. Afternoon drinks and early morning coffee on the patio as well as evenings around the bonfire! Walking distance to the river and surrounded by the mountains. Basil was very helpful with instructions and we will definitely be back.

Wow! What a beautiful Gem If you need some peace and quiet, This is the place for you , It’s a bit of a drive out of town into the forest. So make sure you have everything you need when you leave town, but the lovely host has items on hand , if you need (a lovely touch). I absolutely loved everything about this space , The pictures don’t do it justice! It is beautiful and definitely worth the trip I can’t wait to book it again, I definitely will be back

The photos looked interesting and the reviews were fantastically positive - then the reality? Absolutely splendid! 10/10 - minus nothing! We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was spotless, cozy, private, safe, and secluded, with thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we needed (and more) was provided. Michelle was incredibly attentive, offering great advice and quick responses, and Vincent and Nadia were so kind helping us when we got stuck in the mud. Such warm, welcoming hosts. Thank you for an unforgettable getaway - we’ll definitely be back!

We loved our stay! The house has all the comforts of home, including a washer/drier, dishwasher and back up power. The location is near good restaurants (we loved Champagne Bistro and Valley Bakery), various outdoor activities and hikes. The views are spectacular and the house allowed us a welcome reprieve from busy city life.
