You can walk down to the Lake or the Country Market while taking in all the fresh mountain air. Outside your cabin enjoy the charcoal BBQ grill and patio furniture. Also included in your stay are use of the heated indoor swimming pool (Pool is Open May 1st – Nov 30th, Dec 20th – Jan 6th Daily Hours: 10am – 8pm) & playground located 4 miles south of the cabin at Pine River Lodge.

This is a private cabin at Elk Point Lodge- a peaceful and secluded resort tucked in the pines on the eastern shore of Vallecito Reservoir - the quiet side. There is convenient free lake access from this cabin. Cabin 5, the Wilderness Cabin, is our largest with 3 bedrooms and plenty of room. The fun retro decor highlights our amazing location within the San Juan National Forest and the majestic area wildlife. The large new deck has room for the whole crew to relax and take in stunning views.

The large master bedroom is a perfect romantic retreat. If kids or extra family are in the mix, they will love the bunk house loft it will surely please with its 3 comfortable beds! (Please note that the loft has a low ceiling height & ladder steps.) Your family will enjoy lots of outdoor space on this extra large property!

We've equipped it with everything you might need for a comfortable, relaxing stay. The neighborhood offers a lake (with a walking trail) right across the street, National Forest access, and wildlife (deer, turkeys, the occasional bear). We do live onsite and are here should you have questions or need recommendations.
