Vila Nova de Gaia : locations de vacances avec accès à un lac

The family had a fantastic week at a great location. Joao was a great host and super helpful.

A very quiet, rustic and rural setting. Sooooooo peaceful. Fantastic place to escape the city, get some rest and reconnect with nature. The outdoor, wood-heated bath was great, although it did seem a little decadent for just one person. Ideal for a couple. There is a river and Diogo (who is very friendly and very helpful) said he has a canoe. Although it was still quite cool in the mornings (early April), there is a wood-burner and an AC unit that also heats. The driveway is do-able but more for adventurous drivers. The village (Macieira da Maia) is very authentic and it is only about 10-15 min to the beach. Vila do Conde has a beautiful old-town. Many great beaches along the coast. Braga is only about 40 min, Oporto, about 20-30 min by car.

My stay was just what I needed: a couple of peaceful days in the pristine mountains of Portugal. Very well, equipped kitchen, very comfy bed and nice linens …the host left me some vegetables and fruit from garden, which was amazing. A couple of stunning fireplaces in the house that I used every night Just enjoyable. Thank you.

Excelente para desligar do mundo por uns dias! As fotografias não fazem jus ao espaço e à qualidade do mesmo. Zona exterior muito agradável com vários espaços para relaxar, para além da piscina que estava muito limpinha, e o jacuzzi era maior do que o das fotos. Espaço bem limpo e com todas as comodidades necessárias. A Alice e o esposo foram super afáveis e acolhedores, muito obrigada

A Casa da Ponte de Espindo é o local perfeito para passar um fim de semana de descanso num local sossegado e muito bonito. A casa está super bem decorada e com todas as coisas que necessitámos para o dia a dia. Estava muito limpa. O Tiago foi muito flexível quer no check in, quer no check out, e sempre muito responsivo, preocupado e atencioso nas mensagens. O facto de aceitar animais de estimação é um enorme bónus! A piscina e todo o espaço exterior é lindíssimo! Adorámos :)

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour avec nos 2 enfants de 6 ans . La piscine est adaptée pour les enfants en bas âge . Endroit paisible et soigné. Très belle expérience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a wonderful stay! The house is exactly as shown in the photos — very clean, comfortable. One of the highlights was the amazing jacuzzi — it was spotless, easy to use, and the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring. The location is ideal, close to everything we needed, yet peaceful enough to unwind. The host was incredibly attentive and responded quickly to all our questions. We truly felt at home! We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a special and relaxing stay.

Dette stedet er ett eventyr!! Bildene er flotte av stedet men de yter ikke rettferdighet til denne utrolige eiendommen. Huset er kjempestort, med ett flott uteområde som er delt opp med masse forskjellige turgrupper, det er ett nydelig bassengområde, og mange steder man kan slenge seg ned i skyggen. Det er ett stort utvalg av fugler over store deler av eiendommen, for oss fra Norge var det flere ukjente arter, og påfuglene ble veldig godt kjent med. Fem store flotte fugler gikk løs, og kom gjerne bortom hvis du hadde en brødbit og avse. Hundene var utrolig koselige, tre forskjellige men vennligheten selv alle sammen. To katter var det også, og utallige fugler i store bur, som man bare ser i dyrehager. Mannen i huset er kunstner og har satt sitt eiendommelige preg på både hus og hage, med sine finurlige kunst installasjoner, gjerne med dyr og fugler som tema. Anbefales altså sååå på det varmeste. Må oppleves for å forstå hvor unikt denne eiendommen er.

Great location and price point, easy check in/check out and pictures matched what the place actually looked like.

We had a fabulous 5 nights at Cecilia’s apartment. Everything was as described, it was in a very quiet area, walking distance to centre, restaurants, shops etc. Cecilia was a great host, very knowledgeable, always quick to respond to anything. The welcome gifts were a lovely surprise, thank you 😊. We would definitely recommend and if we ever return we would t hesitate to book again. Thank you Cecilia ❤️

Fantastic stay! There was a water leak in my originally booked room before I even checked in so they switched me to another apartment that was fantastic and probably better than the one I originally booked. They were so accommodating.

Rui muitíssimo atencioso, a casa é incrível… tudo muito organizado e limpo, vejo o cuidado e amor em cada cantinho de sua casa! Me senti em casa… A energia do local é espetacular. Eu adorei!

Frederico's apartment matches completely with it descriptions. As many have already mentioned, it could be noisy at night, BUT totally worth it because it's truly neat and clean, nicely decorated and very well situated. Great experience, thank you Frederico :)

This lovely rooftop apartment could not be better placed to explore Porto and it seemed fitting for our holiday that it was slap bang on the Camino! It is wonderfully spacious and light. The host left some brilliant tips and a guidebook which were super helpful.

A casa do ti Armindo está num local encantador, nas margens do rio Vouga, com uma vista única! A casa em si é espaçosa, limpa, com tudo o que necessitamos para cozinhar e corresponde a descrição e fotos apresentadas! O Mário sempre prestável e disponível para qualquer dúvida, excelente anfitrião ! Obrigado Sr Mário e até breve!

8 of us had an amazing week at Ria Surf House. The pool area was perfect for us adults and kids! Mariana was very helpful and responsive. Fab meals at the snack bar and Casa das Enguias. We didn’t have a car but Mariana put us in touch with a lovely local taxi driver who ensured we could get around when not walking. Also took the train to Porto and Aveiro, great days out. The beach was amazing - a walk through a forest to get there - a wild and remote feel. Many thanks!

A piece of paradise. A beautiful location, tastfully decorated and a very kind and attentive host. Esmoriz and the surroundings are beautiful, I can highly recommend a stay here.

We were very well received and greatly enjoyed our stay at the house. Maria Fatima was very helpful and accomodating during our entire stay and did her best to help us and make us feel right at home. The house is on the outskirts of a village in a very calm area, but close to many bigger and busier cities, and beaches. The garden, pool and bar areas are perfect to enjoy from morning to nighttime, and it feels like a small private resort. The small children loved running around to play with the cats and dog, watching the birds, going in the pool, playground, and just having fun in the large and very diverse garden. The host lives in a house adjacent to the rented house but is very discreet, and even though we enjoy privacy we didn't have any issues staying in the house with the hosts nearby. In fact she was so helpful and kind we felt it was a joy to have her close by. She brought us many gifts of food, desserts and cake, and helped us in many ways during the stay.

Una casa muy bonita , bien preparada y con todo lo necesario para una buena estancia. Muy cercana a pueblos, playas, restaurantes y a unos minutos de Oporto. Ana muy cercana y siempre dispuesta a ayudar.

We had a lovely family get together with 6 of us and it was a perfect place for everyone to have some privacy but also lots of communal space to be together. We needed a car really but we had one so that was fine. There was parking by the house too which was great. The place is decorated very homely and was very clean. We enjoyed having the pool terrace area to relax in. There was good detail provided about the WiFi, house, rubbish, local supermarkets and facilities. Thank you for your hospitality.
