Woodland Cabin Near the Sound; Unplug and Relax

Our cabin is rustic yet enchanting. Hand-built in 1947, Longacres is the perfect cozy place to unplug and unwind. But if you need high-speed internet, you’ve got it! Old Town Manteo is a charming harbor town where you will feel far from the beach boxes and OBX crowds. Longacres is 1 mile from downtown, a 5 minute walk to the Roanoke Sound and a 12 minute drive to the Nags Head beaches. To complete your adventure, we provide bikes and kayaks so you can explore the water and town at your own pace.

Backyard Hideaway

Welcome to our intimate tiny home studio, the perfect retreat for couples seeking a peaceful getaway. Just a 10-minute drive to the beach, our cozy studio offers a serene atmosphere with all the modern comforts you need. The large outdoor area is a highlight, featuring an outdoor grill, fire pit, and shower, perfect for unwinding and enjoying nature. Whether you're basking in the sun, grilling a delicious meal, or relaxing by the fire, our tiny home promises a memorable and rejuvenating escape.

Historic Lennon Cottage at the Mother Vine

Due to its design and antiques the home is not suitable for children under 12. Historic cottage located on Mother Vineyard Road with private access to the Roanoke Sound across the street. The 1930's cottage was built by Robert Bruce Lennon (Kerry's Great Grandfather). Enjoy coffee on the cozy porch & admire the huge, old magnolia tree. Launch your paddle-board or kayak into the shallow sound. Bike downtown and to area attractions. Fully stocked, modern kitchen. Watch the sunset from the dock!

2nd Floor Waterfront Lighthouse View Downtown

See our "hall of art" where each hallway is an art galleries Laney Layton of Edenton working as an artist since 1973. Just look for her signatures. You tube "tour of Manteo nc" to see this special location in the heart of downtown on a 2nd floor overlooking the lighthouse and Shallowbag bay. Walk to restaurants, bars, shops, docks, and Festival Park/Elizabeth II. Visit The Lost Colony/Fort Raleigh/Elizabethan Gardans, NC Aquarium, and Jockey's Ridge. La Vida Isla Guesthouse

La Vida Isla is a quiet, shady retreat from the beach. This is a place to unwind and relax. We are in a safe neighborhood on Roanoke Island. The cottage is an airy and calming space. We take great strides to make sure it is super clean and well maintained. Our goal is to provide a space for complete relaxation. The cottage and outdoor spaces are very private. There is a patio area with outdoor seating as well as a screened porch. Listen to the wind chimes and birds. Enjoy the flowers.

OBX Pirate’s Cove/Manteo Townhouse

Cozy OBX beach getaway. 2 bedroom/2 bath townhouse. Convenient yet private end unit with great sunset and marsh views. Perfect for couples and small groups of families or friends. Front and back porches. Parking for 2 vehicles. Private boat slip out back door with access to Roanoke Sound. Conveniently located on Roanoke Island in the gated Pirate’s Cove community steps away from Pirate’s Cove marina, pool (seasonal), tennis courts, playground, restaurant, bar, and ship’s store.

Crews Cottage on Roanoke Island (Outer Banks, NC)

Located in the forested dunes of Roanoke Island, Crews Cottage is attached to the main house of owners through a breezeway and screened porch. No steps! (See Accessibility section.) Approximately 1000 square feet in total size, it features a large private bedroom (queen bed) with bathroom/shower. The great room has a pullout sofa bed (full) and love seat bed (twin). Kitchenette features full-sized refrigerator, convection microwave oven, toaster, and coffee maker. Sorry, no pets.

Cozy Cottage near Historic Downtown Manteo! This adorable cottage is fully decorated, well equipped, and located only blocks from historical downtown Manteo! Easily walk to or use the bikes. Explore the history, grab lunch and a coffee while you hit the quaint shops. If fishing and exploring is more your speed, there are several charters and tours that start at the Manteo marina area. Oh yeah, Nags Head beach, just 6 miles away!

Ruby's Getaway

Welcome to Ruby's Getaway on Devon. This 2 bedroom home includes a fenced-in outdoor space and is located in downtown Manteo, walking distance from shops, restaurants, playgrounds & the weekly farmers market! Born on Roanoke Island, your hosts are happy to help you enjoy your stay through a local's eye- or let you explore on your own- just let us know how we can help! Check-in after 3pm.
