Place is brand new and very cute with the black bears! Very very steep roads driving there.

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

such a charming little place to stay on our way back down from massachussets. we stated for 2 days to rest before heading back down to Georgia. We left feeling refreshed. The house was so cozy and private. The hot tub was an amazing addition to wrap up our vacation. We especially loved how comfortable the pillows and bed was in the master, and the fact that there was black out curtains throughout the house so we didn't have to wake up early to the brightness. Our 3 year old absolutely loved the rock river too!!

Aaron's house was a cozy retreat. I stayed with my husband and our 4yo and 2yo and everyone was comfortable. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed eating dinners on the screened in porch and on the patio and loved being able to see the woods from our bed.

A really lovely cabin - very clean, spacious (loads of options for hiding with a book!) and quiet. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pans etc - including knives! The toys, games and various additional items for kids are such a thoughtful touch. It’s so peaceful and we loved sitting in the hot tub and listening to the birds and the rain. A highlight for our 6 year old was finding the secret creek and looking for fish. The location is great, too - easy access to the SNP and the various caverns! Would love to come again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Viewpoint! The beautiful sign at the entrance made it easy to find and was a nice touch to our welcome. Upon our arrival, the cabin was cozy, clean and had everything we needed. Our girls loved the hot tub, pool table and ping pong table, and the trail down to the creek behind the cabin was an added bonus! It was extra special to be able to bring our dogs with us! It’s very convenient to Shenandoah NP. The hosts were incredibly kind, quick to respond and gracious — offering us a generously early check in! We will 100% be booking again!

Loved our stay here!! Would come back again in a heartbeat, this was such a beautiful space with a wonderfully responsive host. We ended up having a bit of broken glass at the property & immediately the host made sure that we were safe & got someone out to clean it up! Wonderful host, wonderful space, & a wonderful experience

Great spot for our family of six. Plenty of space for the kids and dogs to roam. After hiking the hot tub was a big hit. Easy access to SNP and caverns. River access lot was great for fishing but there was an experience with a neighbor. Be mindful of the white posts that are near the sign on the river lot for fox creek lodge. The posts don’t go all the way to the water but those posts denote separate property although there is no sign saying so. When my son was fishing three feet inside that on the rocks in the water, the very vocal neighbor came down to the road and threatened to call the cops on us and yelled pretty aggressively as he continued to walk towards us. It seemed like a strange escalation on his part when we immediately got my son on the other side of the post as soon as he yelled that it was private property. Just a note of caution, as we didn’t go down to the river after that because the guy left us feeling a little unsettled. No fault on this Airbnb at all.

The view from the porch is absolutely beautiful. We loved the covered porch so very much easy access to the highway. I would stay again and hope to.

We've stayed here multiple times, and each time and season has been enjoyable in its own way. Sitting riverside around the fire ring into evening is wonderful. There's so much to do outside that it's easy to forget how lovely a space the cabin is...you're right in the middle of a town but elevated so it's possible to have privacy to hang out on the porch and read or watch the geese and ducks float by. It's been years now, and this cabin is still our favorite getaway spot.

Sereda’s cabin exceeded our expectations. It was a little gem in the woods where we relaxed on the veranda, BBQ’d and sat round the camp fire outside. Great places to visit nearby. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay here! Everything was perfect. Our favorites were the hot tub, big windows, and outdoor area! We would absolutely stay here again!! The hosts were AMAZING!!

Our little family had a wonderful weekend at the cabin! Bobby was more than accommodating with us having to change plans after we initially booked. The cabin itself was comfortable and secluded. Our kiddos loved making a fire in the evenings and us parents enjoyed the hot tub during their naps. Bobby was very responsive and everything was just as described. We enjoyed some of the local civil war sights and Luray cavern! We would love to come back one day!

Great spot! Hope very much to return. Pros: very nicely appointed cabin. Not luxury but pretty close! Has all the things you need to make an enjoyable stay. Incredibly good access to hiking, both on foot straight from cabin and by taking a short drive. We really enjoyed the bonfire pit and the supply of firewood. We went in the winter and it was nice to get a bit of snow. Would probably be gorgeous bird watching and such in the summer. Really nice to be surrounded by nothing but trees. Felt like we had a whole mountain to ourselves. Cons: I am noise sensitive, and I did find the main cabin to be pretty close quarters. So if you’re like me or are seeking privacy or quiet amongst a loud group of folks, maybe something to think about. Also not the easiest kitchen to make a big meal (no dishwasher, small drying rack) but we definitely made it work for 5 people. Also to note — we had a couple 2WD cars that made it up the hill to the cabin, but we brought them back down hill for snow

Very beautiful farm! Just what I was looking for to get the kids unplugged for a little while while they were on spring break. William was very clear with his instructions I screenshotted all directions so we didn't struggle getting there once we lost signal. he was also very gracious with letting us have a late check out! Great host, and beautiful cabin! We'll be looking forward to visiting again!

What a lovely cabin! Very clean and well stocked home. Great quiet space to relax. This kids had their own space with the loft. The host was very thoughtful and went above and beyond what the average Airbnb host would do. With lots to do in the area, we wished we could have stayed longer!

It was our first stay at this lovely cabin, we are definitely going to come back and stay longer in future. Great location, 7 min of driving from the nearest scenic overlook. We are impressed with details in the cabin, everything is made for comfortable staying! Thanks 😊

We loved this gorgeous cabin in the woods with the sweetest bear-themed decor. It was really well-equipped so we could cook our own meals and Marty and Mellanie were great communicators who suggested a few nice hikes. The only downside was the crazy number of bugs! Be sure to bring the bug spray and it's not super pleasant sitting outside because of that so be warned.

We had a really nice time. Place has everything you need. Second bedroom is a kind of upstairs loft situation. Host was very communicative and friendly. Would love to come back when it's warmer to take advantage of the outdoor eating/chilling area. We were there at the very beginning of spring before the leaves and flowers come out, I'm sure it's incredibly beautiful when it's green there.

There are many details about the cabin that Sarah added to make the place feel comforatble and homey. We were especially lucky to be there when the iris, mountain laurel and some roses that surrouond the cabin were blooming, but I expect there are other flowers at other times.
