The Hollow — Cozy Heated Yurt on a Whidbey farm

The Hollow is tucked quietly into the woods on South Whidbey — a place where time slows and the world feels just a little farther away. A thermostat-controlled fireplace keeps things perfectly warm, even when the forest fog drifts through the cedars. There’s a French press, a hammock under the trees, and an outdoor shower that somehow makes morning coffee taste better. If you’ve been meaning to take a breath, to reset, or just escape the noise for a couple nights, The Hollow is waiting.

Yurt camping in Doe Bay area

Relax in a spacious yurt on the side of Mount Pickett next to Moran State Park. Less than a five minute drive to Doe Bay Resort. Twelve miles past Eastsound on the Horseshoe Highway and 20 miles from the ferry landing. The yurt has an outdoor kitchen space with a camp stove and most of the utensils for preparing and serving food. There is an outdoor fire spot and a picnic table for outdoor relaxing and dining. There is also an outdoor shower and outhouse with a composting toilet.

Relax and enjoy some time in the country in this comfortable yurt located in beautiful Ridgefield, Washington! Get a feel for the outdoors while glamping in style and still close to small town amenities. Restaurants, grocery stores, U-pick farms, wineries, equestrian facilities, hiking, fishing, boating and birding/wildlife viewing are all nearby. Situated at the property’s entrance, guests have their own private area. Hosts live in the house nearby. A bundle of firewood is included!

Puget Sound View Yurt (Dry Camping)

A yurt in the forest with a water view. Less than 2 miles away from Vashon town and the best walking beach on the island (KVI Beach). The yurt is 200 square feet inside with a fold-out futon bed that sleeps 2. There is a water pump just outside where you can get water if needed...but no sink, shower, etc. There is an outhouse. Think of this as dry camping. If you need a place to flop and reset while exploring and having fun on Vashon, this is for you! Note: Off-property parking.

Ours has a full kitchen, queen sized bed, indoor powder room, attached shower room and private deck in a temperate rainforest setting. Free of streetlights to enjoy stargazing. Pets welcome. We provide french roast coffee, grinder, and, french press, as well as the heated hybrid memory foam and latex mattress with down comforter and mattress heater where you can fall asleep looking thru the 5' yurt dome at the stars...or..snowflakes, but more than likely some rain..:)
