What a hidden gem of a place! We feel so lucky to have found Stable Oak Cottages and to have spent New Year there with our family celebrating our sons 18th. The place was gorgeous and the hot tub such a treat! The alpacas were great entertainment and the luxurious little touches from bath robes and sliders, to home baked bread and muffins were just wonderful. Highly recommend.

Spacious accommodation with nice views. We were given clear instructions and met on arrival. The fireplace Waa an added bonus. Not far from the Spa Valley railway and other attractions. Recommend for a weekend away or even a longer stay.

Jenny & Lisa both responded really quickly to messages and proactively sent really useful extra info on how to get there so we arrived stress free! Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. Very clean & tidy throughout & as described. Perfect base for us to explore nearby attractions. Excellent local & wider recommendations in the info book with OS Map for walks if needed. I spent a few days at the Piggery and it was absolutely wonderful! Such a beautiful lodging as well as area, nice and secluded with beautiful views. Amenities are plentiful inside and the front garden is lovely. The bed is nice and comfortable as well as the two great arm chairs. Lovely and cosy in the evening and probably even better with a real fire! Would totally recommend x

What a wonderful place to stay. The converted oast house is charming and dramatic in equal measure, and the garden and grounds are lovely. The location is a great jumping off point for exploring the Kent & Sussex countrysides, as well. Hope to return!

We had the most wonderful stay at Alice and Alan's cozy cowshed! The space was incredibly warm and inviting, providing a perfect retreat for both of us. Alice and Alan were exceptional hosts, always available to offer assistance and making sure we had everything we needed. They even allowed us to use their beautiful garden, which was such a lovely bonus. One of the highlights was when Alice and Alan kindly offered to drop us into town, saving us the hassle of getting a taxi. They also gave us great recommendations for cabs to get home later on. The stay was extremely nice, and we absolutely loved every moment. We would 100% go back and highly recommend this wonderful spot to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing getaway!

This is such a beautiful lodge set overlooking fields of sheep in an amazing location. The place was really clean, super comfortable and very cosy. We’ll definitely be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was pristine and homely with everything we could need. Sarah and Mark have clearly put a lot of thought into the layout and furnishings etc so it's easy to settle in right away. The secure garden was perfect for our dog while enjoying the views, and the location was great for exploring the area - quiet enough but within easy reach of local amenities attractions. Our children were even able to visit the sheep and collect some eggs from the chickens for themselves (and were most impressed with a huge double-yolker!!) :) Thank you both for a wonderful stay and we hope to return in the future.

The Old Stable was absolutely perfect inside with everything you could possibly need and more. Beautifully clean, comfy and homely. The view from the bedroom was so lovely to wake up to and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Personal touches like eggs from Jane’s chickens and a bottle of complementary fizz were a really lovely touch. Outside in the very large patio area there were numerous seating areas around the pool and jacuzzi. The BBQ, pizza oven, chiminea and outdoor lighting meant that you could have a lovely meal and relax and unwind under the stars. A great place to relax and have a peaceful home away from home!! A very warm and friendly Jane was always on hand to answer any questions or queries. Thank you!!

Booked for a girls trip. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. Perfect for our chilled long weekend, especially with the hot tub. Would definitely book again.

Stayed here for my boyfriend’s birthday, and it was absolutely brilliant. The hot tub, the area, the set up, decor, had everything we needed, I could go on. It was absolutely magical. Charlotte was incredibly welcoming and responsive! It’s the most relaxing and insanely stunning air BnB we’ve stayed at and I 10/10 recommend this to everyone! Absolute bliss✨🫒🌿🤍

Tracy’s place was stunning, set in the most beautiful and peaceful location. It was exactly as described, perfectly clean, and Tracy was a friendly and responsive host. Would definitely recommend!

We had a perfect weekend stay whilst attending a wedding at Cliffe Church and Cooling Castle. The accommodation was a 5 minute walk to the church and 5 minute drive to Cooling Castle, which was extremely convenient with two small children. The accommodation was beautiful, surprisingly spacious and clean. The parking facilities were great and the accommodation was very easy to find. A wonderful place. Chris was very helpful and knowledgeable. Spa facilities were a great way to relax at the end of a day exploring, or a great start to the morning. The kitchen had everything that was needed. The gardens were beautiful. We had a lovely sea view from the balcony, the sunrise was spectacular. Many thanks Chris for a peaceful stay, just what we needed.

We had a couple of problems with our reservations and payment but Ann was super helpful and flexible and we managed to book the cottage in the end. We arrived quite late which wasn’t a problem and the house was easy to find. We had a great stay and can’t say anything negative, really. Very nice recommendations for activities and Ann and Bob were very welcoming! The kids loved the garden and the animals. Thank you for everything! If we are going to be in the area in the future we will stay again.

This is a lovely place to stay. The cabin is clean, well equipped and spacious. We all enjoyed relaxing by the wood fire. Communication with Sarissa and check-in was straightforward. We appreciated the folder full of information about the local area and things to do/places to eat.

We had a lovely stay here - it's a magical, peaceful location and Vivienne was an excellent host. Also loved all the delicious things she supplied for breakfast. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing trip to the countryside.

What an amazing spot. We had the best trip away and the hosts were so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back and would recommend this spot to anyone who needs a breather and some downtime. The hut is superbly well built and the indoor pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, table tennis and other amenities make you feel like you’re in a film!
