Off-Grid Retreat

Off-grid retreat … Dargo Viewz is a “hut” with a difference. The studio-style getaway is totally off-grid and set in a very peaceful, secluded area outside Dargo. Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the Dargo valley. Winter mornings are special here – watch the fog clouds roll over the hills and meander through the valley. Please be aware that from June to December the Dargo High Plains Road is closed. This means you can't drive from Mt Hotham to Dargo on that road.

Pet friendly cosy and warm rustic cottage on the water at Eagle Point. Eagle Point Lakeside Cottage is on Lake King of Gippsland Lakes. Cycling, fishing, walking, swimming and boating are popular here. Next door is the fauna reserve and great bird watching. It has a lake frontage and a shallow water jetty. This cabin is our solution to you hitting your head against the wall waiting for inspiration to seep out. She's tucked in a cosy corner with views of rolling hinterland, facing a tasty rainforest-y hill. There is a 100m downhill walk from the carpark to cabin. Luggage wheelbarrows supplied. No reception out here, so you can fully disconnect in nature. Check in 3pm Late check out at 11am Because, sleep-ins. Pet friendly! Heads up there's livestock on the property.

Wake up each morning to a gorgeous view of the Alpine national park. Dad and I built this off-grid tiny house from the ground up, with lots of little touches to make your stay comfortable and memorable. There's a friendly cat, chooks and cows, and plenty of space to relax in. We're near the Amarti café and wedding venue, the central Gippsland rail trail, and the idyllic Cowwarr weir, so this is a perfect stay for cyclists and hikers. Enjoy your stay!

Handcrafted Bush Retreat

Wake in the canopy. A queen loft bed floats among the treetops, with views through glass on three sides—morning light filtering through gum leaves, birdsong as your alarm. This bespoke tiny home was built by hand using materials from the land itself: the kitchen bench hewn from a 100 year old tree, ceramics shaped from collected clay and finished in ash glaze. Every detail is intentional, nothing generic.

“Dee’s Cottage” Fully renovated country cottage

“Dee” is an original fisherman’s cottage from Paynesville which has been fully renovated and modernised into a self contained studio style space, while retaining some of the original charm. The cottage is located on a small acerage property on the doorstep of the Gippsland Lakes and a short drive to the mountains. “Dee” is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway.
