Enjoy complete privacy as you are surrounded by boulders and nature at this 6+ acre property. Admire rugged boulders and exotic cacti from the window walls wrapping this private High Desert home. Smooth surfaces and warm accents set a contemporary tone. Three acres of gated paradise include a luxe swimming area, outdoor shower, and fire pit. This property sits between the main entrance to Joshua Tree National Park (15 minute drive) and Pioneertown (10 minute drive). This private relaxing retreat location allows you to reconnect and recenter with nature taking center stage. Featured in Dwell, Home Magazine, ArchDaily & Dezeen! This house has been designed to enjoy the natural landscape. Most walls can slide open to have an indoor/outdoor feel. The house has black out drapes for privacy. The pool/spa area is private with three king sized sunbeds. We will provide guests with an electronic code to access the property via the driveway gate and front door. The entire property is available for this rental. We ask that all guests be careful walking around the property as cactus are numerous. Please leave no trace on the grounds and respect the desert and the wildlife. I am available to answer any questions that you have. The property is in an area that resembles being inside the park. Your retreat begins as you leave paved roads onto desert roads composed of decomposed granite (DG) to get to the property. The house guide provides an overview of day hikes in the park. Please ask for any recommendations if you are interested in hiring a private chef to cook a high desert inspired meal, yoga instructor to teach a class or massage therapist to visit the property during your stay. A vehicle is necessary to get around the area. The home comes complete with Waterworks fixtures, Ann Sacks tile, and locally sourced items and furniture. Art by Jim Olarte. Not formally trained in Architecture, Andrew designed the exterior and interior for Boulder2Sky. Mark's family helped in building items such as the fire pit, the gate and some beds. Solar panels are used to help reduce carbon footprint.

Sip on a cup of Keurig coffee in the morning and stroll around the picturesque grounds at the base of the Santa Rosa mountains or take a short walk to the Waldorf Astoria La Quinta Resort next door for some great dining options. TV is equipped with Roku/Netflix/Hulu/Prime. Our villa location can't be beat! It is next to the long blue Paseo fountain - the most beautiful of all fountains within Legacy Villas. Our attention to detail and high standards as hoteliers are evident in the villa's cleanliness and maintenance. Studio can also be rented to our connecting 2-bedroom villa with kitchen (see listing on our profile) to make it a 3-bedroom villa. We have invested in high-end home automation to make your stay more convenient & comfortable - including an Amazon Alexa for voice-controlled music & more. There is cable TV and a google Chromecast device so you can stream shows from your laptop, tablet, or phone. The VERY small kitchenette is essentially an enhanced wet bar. Although it has the basics, it shouldn't be relied upon for regular cooking. Guests will have full access to the villa, including complimentary access to all pools and the on-site fitness center. We're available via phone or text at any time but won't be around during your stay. Nestled into a cove of the Santa Rosa Mountains, the apartment is set in La Quinta within a resort-style neighborhood offering access to shared pools, hot tubs, and a fitness center. Dining, shopping, and golfing are a short drive away. There is an on-site restaurant at the main pool (90 second walk from our villa) that is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 2pm, except during summer months.
