Wonderful and friendly host who made our trip that much better. House was exactly as described and G left clear instructions and also a binder of information about the house and local recommendations which made the stay easier. Would be back in an instant.

Das Haus von Heather ist wunderschön und mit absoluter Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Alle Räume sind in ansprechenden Farbkombinationen großartig gestaltet. Ich habe meine Tochter mit Mann und Enkel eingeladen und wir haben uns sehr wohl und schnell wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Energie in diesem Haus ist sehr friedlich und wohltuend. In der Küche ist an alles gedacht. Der Garten ist ein Traum! Wunderbar gepflegt und herrlich anzusehen. Besonders gefreut hat uns das im Boden eingelassene Trampolin, auf dem ich mit meinem Enkel viel Spaß hatte. Wir können das Haus sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. Am liebsten wären wir alle direkt dort geblieben.

Fantastic little getaway! Exactly what we had hoped for and more. The lodge was immaculate and furnished to a high standard. We met the owner William as he had came to fix a loose handle. He was extremely friendly and made us feel like old friends. This is a perfect little place if you’re looking to relax and recharge. Thank you William. We will definitely be back!! Very comfortable, convenient stay. We only used it as a stopover for a couple of nights when visiting some friends but would definitely consider using it in future as a base to visit Edinburgh (walking distance to train station with direct service to Waverly). Plenty of space, easy parking, no complaints 🙂 And having Eliburn Park (forest park with trees, river, lake) two minutes down the road was a suprise bonus - really great place for adults and kids.

A wonderful and wholesome stay! The cabins were really nice, exactly as seen in the photos. Really comfortable bed. Lovely and warm when we arrived which was a nice touch. The farm animals are just the best! Overall beautiful stay and we will return.

We had an amazing stay here, just want we needed for exploring Scotland. It was lovely to go out for the day and then come back to a peaceful and beautiful place. Would highly recommend and if we were to come back to the same area would book again.

Wonderful stay. The location is absolutely superb. What amazing views and so peaceful and remote. Sitting in the hot tub looking out over the hills was pure bliss!! And the stars you could see on a clear night, wow. Despite being so remote it’s close enough to Edinburgh that you can drive in and do all the attractions. So just perfect. Kylie was a fab host too, leaving Easter eggs for the kids and letting the kids feed her kunekune pig one day! The animals are great, especially Karen then hen, although she will come inside if allowed haha! All in all, we had a fantastic stay. Thank you Kylie

A beautiful stay! A small yet spacious area that comfortably hosted 3 guests. Everything was clean and available. Sharon was very helpful and responsive :) Would highly recommend if you want to stay just outside of Edinburgh (35 minute drive into the centre) and enjoy the lovely scenery! Favourite part was the window in the upstairs bedroom which showed a beautiful view of the countryside :)
