Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.

It looks out onto its own patio in a shared garden. Suitable for a night's stop over or a few days away. We also offer access to an indoor heated swimming pool which is adjacent to the main house. A spacious double bedroom with an upstairs which with a small pull out bed can sleep 1. The sitting room also having a double sofa bed, means that this property can sleep up to 5 (max).

Our newly built, light and spacious holiday home consists of an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area that goes through to the master bedroom. A beautiful bathroom forms an on-suite, adjacent to the bedroom. There is a wardrobe with extra pillows, coat hangers, a washing basket and a safe for your belongings.

The Reading Room

A timber framed barn, formerly used as the village reading room and lodge for shooting parties. Converted in 2020 to offer a comfortable holiday stay. Located in the middle of the quiet village opposite the Green Man pub. Ideal for quiet weekends or longer stays to explore Lincoln and the surrounding countryside.
