Western Montana : séjours à la ferme

This was the little piece of Montana living we were hoping for on our trip! The home was in a perfect location and had such a peaceful view off the porch. Alyson was very friendly and responsive, and the home was the perfect ‘home away from home’ to relax after our days of sightseeing. I would highly recommend Alyson’s place!!

The cabin was super clean and cozy. The property is absolutely gorgeous! Pictures do not do this place justice! This was by far one of the best Airbnb’s I’ve stayed at. This was our first trip to Montana and hopefully won’t be our last. I hope this place is still available next time we visit. Worth every penny!

David and Ken provide a spectacular space in White Bird. The house is charming and comfortable, and the views are beautiful. They are proactive hosts and try to provide direction on things to do in the area, which I really appreciated. The house truly has everything you could need, and I spent equal amounts of time hanging out and cooking inside, taking in the views from the deck, and exploring the area. A lot of reviews talk about the benefits of hosting a group in this space, but I'd also flag that it makes a great solo spot. Overall, a fantastic stay that significantly elevated by visit to Idaho.

We absolutely loved staying at Honey’s Place and guess who met us first as we arrived? None other than Honey! We immediately felt like this was gonna be a great week. This was our first time to Montana and yes we are a little crazy for coming in the winter but we wanted to experience the beauty and rawness of winter in Montana along with the beautiful snow covered mountains all around us. Honey’s Place was perfect for our daily excursions to Glacier National Park, Big Fork, Symes Hot Springs and Whitefish. We loved chillin in the hot tub and the peacefulness of our location. We don’t like to be crowded and this was just right. Loved watching the dogs frolic in the snow and they would greet us every single time we returned. Petting the pony and lambs was an added bonus. Steve always an amazing host although we thought they were crazy to be going white water rafting the day we were headed up to the snow covered mountains. He said it’s only cold if you fall in. Haha! Perfect trip!

Such an absolutely awesome Airbnb experience!! We loved being so close to all of the animals, and how charming the barn was at night. Me & my partner stayed for our anniversary and would definitely stay again. Julie was very responsive & friendly, and had awesome staff working at her ranch.

What a magical and unique stay for us at Julie’s. Staying at Firefly was one of the most unique Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had- being surrounded by beautiful views, and horses, and other farm animals and most importantly… amazing people makes this experience really stand out. Julie was a wonderful host and everything mentioned in the posting exceeded my expectations.

My second time I stayed at Julie’s place and love it! Such a peaceful and serene spot, the animals make it extra special. Thank you for such an amazing visit!

With poor internet connection when approaching the barn, finding the location was difficult. Accommidations were great....maybe for privacy sake...celings on the bedroom would be a plus. Margaret was a wonderful host. Thank you

The place was fantastic. We arrived during a pretty good winter snow storm. Don’t trust google maps as it shows you can drive past the entrance to the cabin, and then loop around and come back. During the winter the county does not plow the loop around road.

It was so much fun to know that we spotted this great red building on the side of the mountian and it was our place to stay! The winding dirt road was a pleasant adventure. The house was very tastefully decorated and extremely clean. The pantry and kitchen were very well stocked with supplies for cooking. The beds were all comfortable and the hot water was amazing! The views were breathtaking! This was an easy travel location to Yellowstone everyday without all the hustle and bustle of town. If you want to enjoy flyfishing, this is a GREAT spot for you! We will definitely look to stay here again!

Really cool "Montana" experience staying in a barn loft! Kelly and Lloyd are super friendly and hospitable. They have done an amazing amount of work to retrofit a barn into a really cool stay. They accommodated on short notice as well. As a couple others have mentioned, it's not immediately apparent how open the space is; the space you stay is open to the rest of the house (two floors below). This was totally fine for me and there was absolutely no concerns about noise, etc., but it's worth noting for anyone looking for a more private space. That said, it was super comfy, a really interesting space to stay in (looking up at the former hay loft crane in the ceiling as you fall asleep!) and waking up to a cup of coffee on your private balcony in the morning was pretty great!

Gorgeous property, friendly hosts and well-appointed barndominium! We didn't want for a thing! High-end furnishings, linens (soft and firm pillows!), and all of the kitchen items you could possibly need. We LOVE having a king-sized bed and our son slept like a rock on the sofa sleeper. So quiet and peaceful! The extra touches and welcoming items (farm-fresh eggs and what looked like a homemade pastry!!!) were over the top. We loved our time here! Definitely worth it! ENJOY!!!

The best place we’ve stayed. Everything new, modern, and professionally done. Private, peaceful, and very comfortable. Furniture was great to relax in after days of skiing. Shower was hot with great pressure and linens were plush and soft. Kitchen had all the amenities you needed. Definitely a place you want to book!!

Our stay was great, the host is very friendly and proactive making the experience even better. The silo was extremely clean and has everything you need for a private and secluded getaway. Highly recommend staying at the silos!

We loved our stay at Simarron’s place! The home was cozy, clean, and extremely comfortable. It was the perfect location to explore the east side of Glacier National Park. Simarron was a fantastic host, I would highly recommend!

This was my first visit to Montana and it couldn’t have gone any better. Jane and Dennis’ place is a true gem! ✅Location: 45 minutes from Glacier National Park, 30 minutes from Whitefish, and right next to the Flathead Lake. The barn allows a peaceful private retreat whilst being within driving distance of major attractions. ✅Cabin: The room is a time capsule. It is a rustic pioneer style cabin with beautiful decor and pieces from local artists. The views are amazing! ✅Affordability: For all that you get, this is a great deal. ✅Hosts: Jane and Dennis are exceptional hosts. They’re locals, offer great recommendations, communicate clearly and quickly, and very personable. They live nearby and know the area well. I will be back. 😄
