'Waterfront' on 1796 Historic Farm

Feel refreshed when you stay in this rustic gem! The Springhouse is nestled in the rolling hills of Northern Virginia’s Wine Country! Originally constructed in the early 1800's, the structure was built over a natural spring that was used for refrigeration. Water from the spring maintains a constant cool temperature throughout the year while also filling a pond. The original stone well, channel and stone flooring are all intact for guests to explore and experience how our ancestors lived.

Perfect place to start your hikes or just to rest for the weekend. The home has 1 BR, kitchen, full bath and coffee bar - Keurig; coffee pot; coffee press; pour over coffee; beans and grinder; teas bags w/ water pot and private parking for our guests. Please note that the living area for this home is upstairs.

Apartment is located in the center of town and in one of the most historic buildings in Brunswick. You’re within walking distance of restaurants, a coffee shop, a brewery, shopping and the C&O Canal. History and adventure surrounds you as historic Harper’s Ferry is right up the road (or bike path if you prefer). You’re only minutes off of the Appalachian Trail and many other beautiful hikes. Brunswick also hosts its own Mountain bike trail which is right up the road from the apartment.

Guests will have exclusive access to the farmhouse and surrounding 2 acres. The remaining 27 acres is a working farm, with seasonal farm activity. Guests may explore the whole farm.

The Log Cabin

A restored 1700's log cabin in a convenient location to Shepherdstown and surrounding attractions. One bedroom upstairs with a queen sized bed. One pull out sofa in the downstairs living area. In the summer of 2018, we have added an intimate brick patio area suitable for alfresco dining and for fireside sitting. It is peaceful. It is beautiful. You will not want to leave.
