Situated adjacent to our farmhouse, across a pretty shared courtyard, the cottage is warm and comfortable. The bedrooms have views of the orchard and tennis court, which you are welcome to use, along with the table tennis in the courtyard. Southlands Farm is in a perfect spot: a rural location renowned for its outstanding natural beauty but close to charming seaside towns.

Little Acorns is a beautiful, hand crafted, bespoke Shepherds hut situated in a tranquil, idyllic location within the glorious Devon countryside. The hut is equipped with everything that you need to ensure an amazing, memorable stay in luxurious accommodation with breathtaking views. There is an additional outside seating area with a firepit for the evenings to huddle around, toasting marshmallows while watching the sun go down and listening to the resident owls hooting. This homely property has 2 comfortable double bedrooms and a single room with a light and bright, open plan lounge and dining room. The well equipped kitchen is spacious and well laid out making cooking up a feast a pleasure. This home is perfectly situated for Devon walks and trips to the coast. The garden is a perfect sanctuary to enjoy the evening sunshine.

The Coach house is recently renovated to a very high standard. It consists of a living room with plenty of seating, wood burner, free supply of logs, under floor heating, a dining room that opens into our extensive gardens, a bathroom with shower, separate bath and plenty of fluffy towels and a large upstairs bedroom with seating area with views over the River Otter and garden. It is ideal for a couple/ young family as there is a cot and single bed, available in the bedroom area.

It's a great base for walking, cycling, touring, shopping, eating and drinking ...and curling up in front of the log fire. Sidbury village is a 20 min walk away. And Sidmouth, on the Jurassic Coast, is just a 4 mile drive. A few days at Filcombe will leave you relaxed, refreshed and keen to come back!
