We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Trailside cabin with lots of opportunity! Hiking, Hunting, Fishing, Swimming, and ATV/Snowmobile trail runs right through property. Moosehead Lake, Greenville, The Forks, Bingham, The Windmills all close by. The Appalachian Trail borders the property. Hike Borestone Mtn, Barren Mtn, Big Squaw, or the AT. Town beach is also close by for swimming in Lake Hebron. Park your truck and ride your ATV/Snowmobile to several restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores, lakes, and mountains.

Welcome to Sunrise Cabins, a humble getaway with beautiful mountain views and breathtaking sunrises! Our cabins are set on a rustic farm environment. Conveniently located 7 miles from Greenville where you will find some great restaurants, boat rentals, ATV/Snowmobile rentals, seaplane tours, fishing charters, moose tours, stores and many more activities! We are located 1/2 mile from ATV access, roughly 2 miles from the Appalachian Trail and many more popular hiking trails.

The Boathouse Cottage is a cozy studio cottage with a deck overhanging Sebec Lake. Think elevated “glamping!” Studio has a queen bed w/linens, full futon and sitting area. Bathroom with shower includes towels. Kitchenette has dishes, utensils, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker and toaster oven (no stove). Furnished porch has tabletop Weber grill with fuel. Two master bedrooms, each with 1 king or 2 twin beds & its own full bathroom. Gas fireplace, kitchen with dishwasher, bbq & washer/dryer. Also included is fast wifi streaming, games and puzzles.

Our cabins have a fully functional kitchen, washer and dryer. Each cabin has a fireplace which only burn Duralogs or clean burn logs except for Cabin 8 which has a propane fireplace. You will love the Cedar Log Cabins, the atmosphere and the surroundings. Some of our cabins have one bathroom only and we also have townhouse cabins. We will notify you of type of availability when you reserve.
