Perfectly centred to explore both north & south sides of Gros Morne Park.

Thistle House - 5 km to Gros Morne National Park

Thistle House is located on Bonne Bay Pond, approximately 22 km north of Deer Lake and only 5 km to the entrance of Gros Morne National Park, making it the perfect base to explore Gros Morne and the west coast. If you are hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, or taking in the sights of Gros Morne then this is the vacation home that will meet all of your needs. Stay here, and make this your base to explore all the area has to offer. At the end of the day, come back to relax in this comfortable home.

Lots of light throughout this home. A great place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. There are two decks; one over looking the marina and the other with a view of the Tablelands. Close to coffee/lunch shop, boat tours, kayaking and hiking trails. Located in the heart of Gros Morne. One of the original cottage style homes in Norris Point. It will be your home away from home during your visit. A short walk will take you to the Bonne Bay Marine Station and The Cat Stop (boat tour).

*IMPORTANT* You will need to bring your own camping essentials. (Bedding, Cookware, Lanterns, etc) Please note - no water or electrical supply to the A Frame. Off grid camping! Our rugged A-frame camping huts are perfect for spending a night in nature! This hut includes 1 queen and 1 double bed both with mattresses, and a table/chair set. Outside is a firepit, chairs, picnic table, stars and Tableland Mountains. Surrounded by trees and breathtaking views, your sure to enjoy your stay!

Located directly across the street from Deer Lake beach, close to many local offerings, and in a prime spot for anyone accessing ATV/snowmobile trails (plus lots of room to park your machines right on the property), it’s perfectly placed to enjoy our beautiful section of the West Coast!

Located in the heart of Deer Lake, the Spud Suites is within walking distance to the grocery store, stadium, liquor store, and nightlife. It is a 8 minute drive to the Deer Lake Airport, a short 24 minute drive to the entrance of Gros Morne National Park, and a 25 minute drive to Marble Mountain Ski Resort/Ziplining. The Spud Suites is also located on the Newfoundland Groomed Trail System. There is direct access to the the trail for snowmobiles and ATVs. Parking available for both.

Air Conditioned apt! One queen bed and one double bed. Accommodates 4 people. Grocery and liquor store close walking distance. 5 mins drive from Deer Lake Airport, a short scenic drive to Gros Morne National Park and 25 mins drive to Marble Mountain Ski Resort where you can Ski, Zip Line over a beautiful waterfall! There is a playground down the street. Deer Lake has a beautiful sandy beach and the Insectarium & Butterfly Garden are well worth visiting! Sorry no pets.
