Private stairs lead to a beautiful semi-private beach which faces Northwest, resulting in less wind. We are close to several Oregon State Parks. Golf is nearby HOUSEKEEPING IS NOT PROVIDED, you are asked to wash linens, dishes and clean the unit so it is ready for the next guest. No smoking or pets please.

Set to the background of a small historic rural town, tucked just out of sight of the beaten route to/from the Pacific Ocean and Oregon Dunes a short 16mi away at Reedsport.  Year-round floating dock and river access all to yourself, different experience with each tide change, and kayaks provided. Otter, eagle, seal, fish, etc : a nature theme park!

Bay Cove Cottage A

On the Bay across from Charleston Harbor. Bright, clean, and cozy, rustic 1940s era cottage duplex, perfect for frugal travelers. Features kitchenette, comfortable queen bed plus fold-out sofa bed in the living room. There is no view from inside the cottage, but a small patio with fire pit (weather permitting) is available with gorgeous views from outside the cottage. Cottage A is close to Cape Arago Hwy., and receives more road noise than any of our other properties.

The kitchen, living and dining room, are all on the main floor with stunning views of Heceta Beach. Walk out on the front deck, and take a short path to the beach. The deck also wraps around the beach side of the house, so you have a wind protected place to sit on those windy summer days.
