Miller's Cottage - Gradbach Mill

On the banks of the River Dane in the tiny hamlet of Gradbach, this 3 bedroom cottage can be found in an unspoilt corner of the Peak District National Park with views of our meadow & surrounding countryside. The cottage is at the rear of an 18th century stone built silk mill, which is currently ran as an events & conference venue as well as offering B&B with a separate seasonal café. There're walks from the door & an abundance of wildlife in the grounds, a great place for a relaxing stay.

Black Cat Cottage in lovely Wildboarclough

Lovely stone-built two bedroom cottage in converted barn and piggery, on a 20 acre farm overlooking Shutlingsloe. The farmhouse and cottage were renovated in 2019, but the cottage retains a rustic charm - stone built and with a stone roof, and some barn features. Walks to Shutlingsloe, Grandbach Mill, Lud's Church, the Cat and Fiddle, and Three Shire Head can all be accessed from the farm, as can the local pub and Blaze Farm for ice cream (challenging walks, includes some walking on road).

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Roachside Cottage is situated in the beautiful Roaches Estate, a former private estate and grouse moor, now owned by the Peak District and cared for by the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 people, comprising of 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed downstairs. The views from every angle of the property are utterly breathtaking. Friendly and knowledgable hosts who can give great local advice including walking and cycling routes and places to visit and dine out.
