You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings of this rustic destination. Set in Garden of The Main House (The Smithy). The accommodation has its own entrance. Once through the door there is the main Bathroom with shower, WC & Basin. The Small lounge area contains double sofa, kitchen area with microwave & fridge. There is a sliding door through to the Bedroom where the King Size Bed has a bespoke Cedar Headboard. The outside seating area has far reaching views. There is a good Wifi signal.

The cottage is located just out of the centre of Hay opposite the beautiful St Mary's Church. It is slightly quieter here than in the heart of the town but is still only a 5 minute walk into the centre. It is very easy to access the river walks, simply taking the path to the right of the church. The cottage is full of character with wooden beams, a wood-burning stove, the original fireplace in the bedroom, wooden flooring throughout the downstairs, and a beautiful south-facing garden.

We have a large garden growing most of our fruit & vegetables, our own chickens and provide free cider while stocks last. Please understand that we are a traditional bed and breakfast establishment. We are in an excellent position for site seeing, walking and cycling, our local hotel is well known for salmon and course fishing along with good food there's also a number of country inns who serve food within a 10 minute drive for those who prefer not to cook. The county town of Hereford is 12 miles and the famous town of books Hay on Wye is 8 miles
