Historic stone cottage in the heart of Melrose. Close to all local amenities with spectacular views and direct access to the creek. Main and second bedroom have queen beds. Third bedroom has as a triple bunk (double and single) and a single bunk. Camp style kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge. Basic ‘outhouse’ style bathroom (external), shower over bath, toilet. Tommy Rough will be your new home away from home! Perfect for a couple, but can accommodate up to 3-4 with the use of sofa beds. Retro styling, updated amenities, and all the comforts from home - just downsized, slowed down, and simplified. Pets welcome, fenced and secure back yard. She’s a little “rough around the edges”, hence the name, but is safe, comfortable and charming. Your perfect couples getaway only 2 hours from Adelaide. Our place is a 1 km walk to the pub, shops, and Jetty.

A 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom house, just 20 metres from the water’s edge at high tide. Main bedroom, ensuite, walk-in robe, and ocean views. Bedroom 2 overlooks Point Lowly Lighthouse. Main bathroom has a shower, bath, separate vanity, toilet. Our guest suite is fully self-contained with kitchenette, en suite bathroom, walk-in shower, spa and shared laundry. It is a new-build facility attached to the historic former Uniting Church in Spalding. The accommodation offers a relaxing overnight stay or respite for longer visits. Special features include the en suite spa bath, fully equipped kitchenette and laundry. We provide some food essentials: tea, coffee, sugar, olive oil, milk, butter and condiments, however meals are not included.

If you're into mountain bikes, Melrose is one of the best attractions in South Australia. If you don't have a bike, you can hire them in town. We are in the Southern Flinders Ranges with National Parks within easy reach. Pt. Germein is an historic Port town with 1.3 km wooden jetty, perfect for fishing and crabbing. The cottage is located in the grounds of St Clement's Anglican Church circa 1863 now a private residence. Only 23 kms from major rural city of Pt. Pirie. Cottage is self contained and would be described as bright and fresh set in an Australian native garden with undercover car parking.

Built in the early 1900's, this gracious comfortable house has a relaxed feel with generous rooms, high ceilings and modern amenities. It is filled with books, art, trashy novels, board games and spaces to play them or watch tv and lounge in front of the fire with a glass of local wine.
