Enjoy a short drive to the Mineola Nature Preserve with paved walking trails, playground and covered pavilion. We are close to several beautiful lakes, historic downtown Mineola and Lindale (home of Miranda Lambert) or just stay home and enjoy front porch sitting to appreciate the stars and trees. We are about a 40 minute drive to Canton (home of the First Monday Trade Days) and about 6 miles from the Amtrak station in Mineola. Tall Pines Retreat

This beautifully located home features several mature pines in a quiet neighborhood within the Quitman city limits. The house is situated on the lot to make pulling your boat through or parking it a breeze. This older, yet comfortable home, comes with all you need for a relaxing stay. Wifi is available throughout the house. You will have a fully-functional kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, 3 different lounging areas, washer/dryer/ironing board and iron. Each room is fully stocked with linens.

Enjoy the slow, quiet streets and paths and amenities such as lakes, fishing (no fishing license needed), golf, tennis, pickleball, & pool. A good place for quiet nature lovers.

Included is a nice front porch to enjoy nature and a full kitchen for your convenience. The Cottage is 15 minutes from downtown Lindale, 35 from Canton Trade Days and Tyler. There is a queen bed and 2 nice futons upstairs. There are two space space heaters, extra blankets, and two acs. The Cottage has everything you need.

The property is secluded. Walk down the long driveway to the oak tree with a swing. View the cattle from the fences.
